Bought this for my daughter's birthday. It is exactly as described but breyer than I expected.

Love this. Just wondering why there is no glass to protect the compass? Should there be? Good quality so I wonder why it would not have that.

This was a gift for my husband and let's just say I'm sad and so is he as you can tell it looks nothing like the picture and no special leather pouch. I didn't want to return I wanted a replacement but China can't get it right the first time.

So I haven't used this for directional accuracy, I bought it as a costume prop and I love it! Smells of genuine leather. Beautiful. Good quality.Took about a month to get to me but worth the wait

I was quite excited to get the package. I could feel the weight of the item and the quality of the compass, but it fell short at the hinge. It is hard to get to latch and doesn't sit properly which takes a few times to get it to latch.

North is not north it can be taken appart and fixed but be careful
