Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product was amazing! The light worked great!! It did get hot, but after you turn it off it cools down pretty quickly. We are using this for a glow in the dark black light party and it looked great with the decorations!! Would definitely recommend!! Brightness: The light was very bright! With the lights turned off it would reach pretty far with just one light!!

Specifically bought it to use in my guitar building. I started using a product by solaRez called I can’t believe it’s not lacquer. A UV based resin. The lights are awesome!

These bad boys are bright. I have been using these in the rain for the last few month's without issue. Heatsink seems to be working good as these aren't piping hot like others I have used. Perfect for my Halloween display.

I struggled with rating this product. Some points on the lights were very good... some pretty bad... The quality of the effect is extremely good. The light wavelength is not as low as the 465nm lights... so, it gives off a purple glow. However, the effects that I had painted in florescent paint glowed very brightly. I put two of these lights in my front yard 50' x 20'. It lit up the yard very well. I was able to replace a ton of smaller lights that I had accumulated over the years. The quality of the packaging was terrible... and the interior of the light is not very robust. I had to order and return three shipments of this product in order to get 2 working lights. The lights are boxed without really any padding. The product boxes were all damaged (inside the exterior Amazon package). On the lights that were damaged, the control and power mechanisms inside the light broke free and severely damaged the thin (flimsy) metal light reflector. I have attached photos to better illustrate this issues. Interestingly, this year I also purchased from a lighting store a $160 465nm light that was only 20 watts. The lights in this review compare favorably to the very expensive light that I purchased. The Lysed lights had more visible purple (as to be expected)... but lit up the decorations MUCH more than the expensive light (60w vs 20w)... So, the lysed had really good bang for the buck so to speak. So, while I gave only 3 stars, I did keep the lights...
