Self Etching Primer Gray 15.5 oz. (6/Pack)

This is a very good self-etching primer. Equivalent to Marhyde primer, but much less expensive.

As recommended by pond shield, this was used after sanding the tank and spraying with vinegar and then rinsing. Paint went on smoothly and although it was done outside (and we were sitting in the 8' round stock tank which is going to become a pool), it was important to wear a mask as the fumes were incredibly strong. It dried quickly and any overspray, we were able to vacuum up. Very happy with the results! It was a bit pricey, but worth it as anything you spend time on and want it to last, it is well worth the money (in my opinion.) Anyone who is looking to use this for an 8' stock tank, we used 3.5 cans. (Pond Shield was then applied over the SEM self-etching primer.)

Use it building my RV14a.... IF you are going to prime from a Rattle Can, this is the primer you want to use avaible in Green or Grey. I use both.
