KEEPS COOL, FITS GOOD!
I used this radiator to replace a leaking factory radiator on our 1974 260z. This radiator has way better looking welds compared to many other aluminum ones I looked at online. I have been in the autobody industry for 10 years now, and can say this aftermarket radiator fits EXCELLENT compared to many other aftermarket parts I've seen. It is also significantly lighter. No issues getting the bolt holes aligned. The lower rad hose tube on the radiator seemed to be a slightly different angle, but hoses flex, so that wasn't a big deal. NOTE: if you had a factory rad, the mounting nuts are welded on the radiator mounting tabs on the sides. You can either try to break them off and re-use them, go buy 4 nuts to fit the factory mounting bolts at a hardware store, or use metric spares if you have hardware on hand. The aluminum mounting tabs are solid, the filler neck is machined well, and the cap fits good and tight. It includes a good aluminum drain plug as well. It does have fittings for an auto trans cooler if your car is automatic, which I capped off for our 4 speed car. It also includes fan shroud mounting tabs on the back side to bolt on a fan shroud if your car came with/has a fan shroud. I installed a new water pump, t-stat, fan clutch and this rad. Car stays idling on concrete at 170 degrees now with a 180* t-stat, and ambient temps of the mid 80s. I can't speak to on road/longevity of it yet, but I'm confident it'll do good.

El radiador no es de 240z
El radiador tiene una excelente calidad, pero no es para 240z. La toma superior debería estar del lado izquierdo

Fit perfectly.
This radiator fit perfectly . There are two smaller inlets/outlets (besides the primary outlet) along the bottom edge of the radiator which are not described in any instruction manual. I expected these needed to be capped off , so I called Mishimoto customer support before trying to fill the radiator and having coolant pour out these outlets. I asked if they sold the correct caps. They didn’t.They were very helpful , but didn’t initially know what to do either. After researching a bit , the service advisor told me they were for a separate circuit for automatic transmission equipped models and could be left empty and uncapped. I’m not sure how big this cooling circuit is, but it seems a waste of potential engine cooling surface area for the main radiator on manual shift cars (which I would guess would be the vast majority of Datsun 240Z’s.). However, overall , very pleased with the product so far. I’m in the midst of a restoration so I can’t yet comment on the efficiency of the radiator itself.

Good fit for my Datsun 240Z
The product came earlier than scheduled. The radiator was packaged very well, and my mechanic had no problems with the installation. The coolant temperature seems to be a little lower, but will need to confirm with a road test.Overall a very good product.

Awesome fit and welds. works flawlessly
This was put in a 1972 Datsun 240Z with an automatic transmission. Totally easy to put in, only 4 bolt holes and they lined up exact. The Z car runs so much cooler and better. It was a good buy and great quality.
