Well it doesnt actually smell of peppermint so I can't imagine there is much.

I always massage it into the hair and scalp, been using it for about year and a half with no issues

I use it regularly I am 75 years old and have a full head of hair Whether that is normal for me or due to the Man Cave I can not say but my hair does feel soft and thicker after using it.
