is the 2nd generation plug different from the first generation - not sure which model i have - bought one and the plug hole was to small?

Yes, the 2nd generation is the Nest Mini and the first is the Google Home Mini. I have both. A quick way to tell which you have, if it has a wall mount hole on the bottom, it is second gen.

Hello.this only wall mount holder for Google nest mini 2nd generation voice speaker. not come with cord, and it doesn't fit the google home mini, thanks!
