Funds: Private Equity, Hedge and All Core Structures (The Wiley Finance Series)

This is a such a good introductory book for PE/HF industry. I had been working in this industry for 2.5 years and I felt so delighted and thankful for this book since this summarized many useful information in one book. It is definitely not a intense and goes very deep., but as a summarized book, it is a to go for anyone work in Alternative Investment industry practice.

Not technical enough, but good

This is by no means an academic epos on funds (PE, Hedge, etc) and its comparison. It is, however a good reference book for when you need to lookup some tax-related information for a specific fund structure within a particular jurisdiction for example. I guess, it can be used as a tutorial for various fund structures as it does provide a comprehensive overview of both master/feeder and parallel structures for example.

This book is a UK business book

I take an enormous amount of care for my books. Never write on them, never highlight on them… Very reluctant to lend them… I bought this brand new book and the cover arrived damaged.

Excellent book. Very good overview of funds - including their structure and fees. Very useful reference tool. I only wish more jurisdictions were covered!
