Farm Fresh Maris Piper Potatoes Packed in 12.5kg Paper Sacks. Ideal for Roasting, Chipping, Boiling and Baking

I'm fed up with buying potatoes from the supermarket & they are covered in bruises, marks, buds & generally on their way to the bin before I have even used them all.I found these by accident whilst browsing & decided to give them a go. It works out around the same price as store-bought but the difference is now I actually get to use them all & they taste way better.Firstly they come in a big paper bag, so they are easy to store and the bag keeps them fresh - no plastic to sweat in.They are covered in a light dusting of dirt which preserves them that bit longer. They are also far better quality - only 1 so far had a mark on it from where it's been dug up so I can deal with that since that's a far better ratio than what I was getting.We store ours in a cool dry place & get them out as we need them. A quick rinse under the tap & I can either make a jacket or peel them for other recipes.They make lovely jackets when coated in oil, salt & pepper then cooked in the air fryer for 45 minutes, or peeled, chopped & boiled for a few minutes before being tossed in my roast potato powder & 20 minutes in the air fryer gives perfect roasties. They also make a great mash. I haven't as yet gotten around to anything else with them but given how well they have come out in the other dishes I have no concerns.So, they last way longer than store-bought potatoes. If you put an apple in the bag then it helps prevent them from budding, but the budding has been minimal so far & we have had them for nearly 4 weeks. Bearing in mind that most store bough potatoes have been stored for anything up to a year before they get sent to shops, buying these means you should be able to store them for a while, so therefore you are likely to get through them way before they turn bad.My only complaint is there weren't many big potatoes in this bag, so our jacket potatoes were quite small - but they still came out wonderful, just smaller than usual. And to be honest, it's a small price to pay for a food product that won't get wasted or thrown out as we already have a huge food wastage problem in the UK, so if it means having slightly smaller potatoes then I can live with that.I am very happy with these and will buy these again. I'll see what others they have too but have no problems with reordering these Maris Pipers again.If you want products as fresh as possible, direct from the farm & arent too fussy about the dirt, or size then I totally recommend trying them.5/5 very happy with these.

We have tried various shop potatoes and found you get loads of waste.We found these on Amazon at a reasonable price and thought in for a penny in for a pound, I'm glad we did as they make excellent roast potatoes, Yes they do have a dusting of soil on them so if you want the skin left on all you have to do is a quick wash and they are ready.Hardly any waste and well worth the money, thanks.P.S W have used about half of the 25Kg bag so far, we have little to no waste unlike shop bought spuds, if you said we have only lost only half of a small potato that would be an exaggeration.01/ 04/ 2022 We have received our 2nd bag of potatoes and they look good enough to eat ( ha ha )

Could not get potatoes from Morrisons! So went on Amazon and found this supplier. Great potatoes, all of good size and very fresh. Slight niggle - the delivery drive dumped them on grass verge as side of road and did not tell us they had delivered them. Will be buying again though as they are great straight from farm produce.

First time I bought this the delivery was delayed by several days.Product is great. Taste great and lasted for ages.Bought it a second time and again delivery has been delayed for several days. Going to have to look at other options.

My potatoes arrived today in very good condition with cling film wrapped around the paper sack, they are of a nice size and very clean looking "without" roots. I'm ever so pleased with them.I will definitely be buying more from this seller when they run out if they keep on coming in such good condition.Thank you seller, you're the best ever. 😊

Quick delivery. Potatoes come unwashed which helps preserve them, hence longer lasting. Great flavour and quality, make excellent roasters. Very happy with these

these look and taste nothing like maris piper 50 plus years of growing them i think i should what are not maris piper. these make terrible chips and dont taste nice looks like sticking to local shop marfona

The potatoes started sprouting very quickly even though they were kept in a dark cool place in the bag and covered but lovely buttery taste to Them
