Great gyotaku paper
This was my first roll of rice paper I used for gyotaku (fish printing). It worked great and it wasn't until I tried 4 other types of rice paper/mulberry paper that I realized how well this paper performed. Some of the other types I've tried have been too thick making it difficult to flex in certain areas causing it to fall apart and rip, or leave paper fibers on the fish leaving the print with blotchy white spots where the paper stuck to the fish also making it a headache when trying to make more than one print. This paper really holds up well, is flexible where I really need it helping to avoid creases or rips and doesn't leave paper fibers attached to the fish. It picks up a great deal of detail, some of the other papers I've tried seemed to pick up more detail, but this rice paper seems to be the best compromise and has left me with the most usable prints so far. It is also a very ideal size, one of the widest sizes I've found which gives you the most options, in addition to that it is one of the longest continuous rolls I've found as well. All around a great choice for fish printing and I highly recommend it for such projects. I've used it with mainly acrylic paints.

High quality paper
Beautiful paper. Bought to replace the paper in a Soji screen. This is a nice weight and should do the trick. I will update with pictures when I finish.

Striped paper
The paper arrived within the specified time frame and the thickness/ texture worked well for the project I was trying out. Unfortunately the paper has stripes that run down the whole length of the roll.

Sturdy paper, not too fragile.
I love this paper, it holds up well. The painting is done with Gansai Tambi watercolors and I think the effect is amazing! If you prefer the grain to show mulberry paper would be better but much more fragile. A large roll, I will be painting on it for a long while.

Great paper for gyotaku
I needed some paper to replace a roll that I had used up for some gyotaku fish prints. This paper is thick and sturdy enough to take a fish print, and is still flexible enough to hit the contours of the fish without issues. I have had no problems with ripping or sticking when using this paper, and have been very happy with the look of this paper after the art has been put into frames. I'll order this again when I use up the roll.

Great for Printmaking
Really beautiful, sturdy rice paper! I've been using it for printmaking linocut prints. I used and mixed Intaglio ink with acrylic block printing ink and so far the prints are crisp with no bleeding on the edges. I would recommend!

Good for backing
This paper works well for backing with pieces you are going to mount in a frame. The roll makes it easy to tear off and back with your rice flour glue. This enables you to "marry" two pieces togather.
