i purchased these as a special treat for a monitor lizard that isnt too thrilled with the special monitor lizard food he's been getting lately. these went over VERY well, he ate them with much enthusiasm. i was rather surprised at how large they were, about two inches long each! i can quite recall but i think there were about ten in the can. hopefully any lizard owners will already know this but depending on the size of your lizard youll need to space these out with a few days in between feedings.

My bearded dragon is pretty picky, and I hated dealing with live food, so this product is an amazing alternative that works for both of us! He really loves these, so if you have a picky reptile this might be the product for you!

I got these for my bearded dragon. I had a time getting him to eat them (AT FIRST). I kept playing around, eventually using some tweezers instead of my fingers (or just lying it down). When I moved the HUGE grasshopper up over his head, he gobbled it up. He at the whole can eventually and seems to be begging for more.They were fresh,with virtually zero odor (maybe a bit like boiled peanuts?).

just through the can in the trash. didnt feel like feeding it to my dragon cause they smelt so bad and looked even worse. figured i would try them and see if he liked them but didnt try. they were black/darkbrown not green like i thought they would be.

I have purchased a few variety of grasshoppers in a can now. These really were large. I don't think there were 20, but 18 or so is close enough. My sugar gliders loved them. I have purchased them again.

As expected, my box turtle just refuses to touch them.

My bearded dragon loves these, its by far his favorite food item. If you have a younger bearded dragon or smaller lizard these might be too big, they are on the large side so suitable for adult bearded dragons and larger lizards but not so much for smaller lizards or young bearded dragons.

kleine Dose und dicke Dinger, das sind schon richtige Heupferde so gross wie sie sind.....und lecker sehen sie nicht grad aus, wahrscheinlich hat sich meine Agame dann auch auf die Pinzette und nicht auf das Tier gestürzt. Hat sie aber dann doch gefressen und wollte mehr aber man soll nur eine davon geben wenn ich das richtig gelesen habe.Natürlich fehlt der Jagdeffekt komplett bei solcher Fütterung aber für den Notfall werde ich wohl immer welche Zuhause lagern, zumal sie recht lange haltbar sind ungeöffnet.Die Dosen haben eine Zippöffnung so dass man keinen Dosenöffner braucht und es gibt einen Kunststoffdeckel um nach Entnahme die Dose wieder ordentlich zu verschließen. Aber auch bei Lagerung im Kühlschrank sollten die Hoppers innerhalb einer Woche verfüttert sein sonst fangen sie an zu schimmeln.Da sie meiner Agame geschmeckt haben, werde ich sie für Notfälle hinlegen aber nicht für regelmäßige Fütterung, da ziehe ich lebende Tiere vor.
