NOT Compatible with International Water Bottles
This filter functions as it should. It filters water. But one of the reasons I bought it was for its ability to mount on top of plastic water bottles. However, it does NOT fit on Fiji 700ml, Evian 750ml, Vichy 750ml, water bottles. It also does not fit on Arwa, Al Ain, or Masafi water bottles in 500ml or 1L sizes, or any others that I have tried overseas. I am disappointed because I live in the Middle East and travel to South East Asia regularly and it seems that the standard bottle mouth / thread size in these areas is just slightly larger than the 28mm thread on the Sawyer filters. (I tried both the Sawyer Squeeze and the Sawyer Micro). I realize that Sawyer has not promised a universal fit, but I thought others who may be considering this filter for international use should be aware of the compatibility issues. I will probably return this filter and look for one that is more suited to my AOR.

Literally so convenient
This is such a safety measure because It is so compact and you KNOW you will be okay if you get stranded. Great for hiking/biking/to carry in your car! Easy to clean and this is by far the best value and quality on the market!

Lightish, compact, easy to use!
I used a CNOC 2liter crewed onto my Sawyer filter and it worked great. I also did a squeeze to speed things up and that worked to get water quickly. As I was in the pristine BC wilderness, the water tasted great, but of course would have without the filter. Just used it as an extra precaution. It's light and compact enough for my backpack and I keep it in my survival kit when not camping. Highly recommend Sawyer products. Did a quick flush when I got home.

Handy backpacking tool
Using it for 4 years now on many multiday backpacking trips, the filtration process is not really fast, but good enough for the size. Last year I thought it stopped working, but it was probably because I kept it dry for too long, I just needed to fill it with water and let it sit for some time, then it worked well again.
