Catherine Cookson never lets you down!!!

People used to say that Catherine Cookson was so generous that her books were like two books for the price of one. 'The Maltese Angel' is the equivalent of three books.That day and age is so well researched and written for, and the emotional narriative grips and moves in equal measure.Some people are staunch fans of William Shakespeare, I feel the same about the novels of Catherine Cookson (the adaptations I also used to watch growing up on the telly).This is my third favourite of Catherine's richly, creative profferings. A truly wonderful read.📖🦋☀️🧡

I''m a huge fan and although Mrs. Cookson passed away several years ago, I can obtain some of her books that I don't have in my library!

I bought this book for my mom as she loves to read....a lot!! She loves it!!
