Suture kit
This seems like a good kit. Lots of packages for the price. I haven’t had to use anything to know how good they work but that’s a good thing, right?

First Aid Bag addition...
I bought these to add to my first aid bag while camping and just to have around the house. I am a nurse and have never sewed anybody up, but push comes to shove and no other medical help around, I will not hesitate! Good thing to have around.

Don't see a doctor...be a doctor, lol.
I like the variety of the types of thread. I like that they are prepackaged and sterile. It says on each pack the needle size and thread type. I bought them to have on hand for emergency situations after walking into a board sticking out of my truck resulting in large gash on my forehead that I couldve sutured up myself. I am deff prepared for the next one.

Got these for my go bag/emergency medical kit
Probably the best value for the variety compared to any other listing on Amazon. If you plant to do any serious medical stuff, you should also considering complementing these with some absorbable sutures--pds, pdo, vicryl (vet-cryl), chromic gut, etc. Also, these are all reverse cutting needles--if you plant to do any soft tissue or vascular repair, you might want to get those absorbable sutures in something like 4-0:10-0 taper, or taper-cutting.3-0 to 4-0 is sufficient for things like intestinal anastomosis, but you're going to probably need something like 6-0 to 10-0 for vascular repairs/anastomosis.Forceps and a pair of hemostats for a needle driver are very helpful.I'd probably grab some IV antiobiotics (a tetracycline. eg. doxycycline) or something too.IV saline and and IV admin set. tourniquettes.Lidocaine, etc. if you hope to do this work without a screaming patient. All these things can be purchased OTC.Try looking for midwifery supplies like birthsupplies canada-- emergency first like ChinookMed, and LiveActionSafety--and resale markets like esuture or dotmed.IV saline bags can be purchased from canada to USA without rx if you run into any issues.Picked up some intraosseous bone injection guns from Dotmed for emergency IV access with significant fluid loss.Throw in some owen and mumford autoinjectors...
