I cannot tell you how pleased I was when I opened my purchase! These beautiful cards come in a hard, clear case for easy care. Also, enclosed is a personal note from Jenny, the creator expressing how important words are in our lives. I bought these for a Christmas gift for my nephews 11-year-old son. I just know he is going to love them, I surely do! Do not hesitate if you’re thinking of buying these for anyone, including yourself in your life!

My set of cards just arrived. I looked through them to truly get a sense of the messages. I’m ordering another set immediately!

I teach 6th grade and use these colorful cards several times a week with my class. I pass them out before they enter the classroom. They read it when they first come in and I let the cards stay on their desk for the whole morning. Later we'll do a "whip around" where I start on one side of the class and the student reads their affirmation and the class repeats it back chorally, then the next student, then the next. For example, the student will read, "I am helpful," and the class will respond, "You are helpful." It's pretty great because by the time we are done (usually less than 5 minutes) we'll have heard and said 30 different positive statements. I also used them similarly with partners. I will have two students together. They will read the card aloud together and then follow up with "You are..." and "We are..." For example, "I am a good friend. You are a good friend. We are good friends." The students enjoy affirmation time! I also notice that it helps students praise each other in times when we aren't using the cards. I am happy with my purchase. I bought these in 2017 and they are still going strong! I have used these in many more ways, but I feel my review is long enough. Buy them and enjoy them with your child or with your students :)

Our 3 kids especially our middle was struggling with negative self talk. We got these and made a game out of which one they drew each day. They had to use or do something that their card said or talked about at some point throughout their day. After some time we started seeing a positive difference. It’s a great fit for a daily encouragement type of thing

Really liked this set for kids - you can include as a party favor or even gift it… will order another set.

When my granddaughter (age 9) comes over, she loves looking at my card sets and pulling a card, so I got her a set that would fit her. Good self-esteem insights in small pieces. Not overwhelming at all.

My kids each pick one out on the way to school and I love how much more positive it’s made the drive and drop off. Not all of the cards are completely applicable to all of us but that’s ok. We love these cards!

It is so important to raise our kids with a positive self narrative and these cards are the tool that more parents need to succeed in raising confident children. They are beautifully crafted right down to the box they’re in. Definitely recommend!

As grandparents we send a card every week or so to out 10-year old granddaughter so she has the anticipation of 1) receiving mail addressed just to her but also a little card that reminds her that she is something special and good in this upset world we inhabit.
