I think a lot of adults with ADHD will agree with me when I say that anything that cuts my cognitive load down makes it infinitely easier to get on with the tasks of my day. The brainpower it takes to remember all the things I need to keep track of and remind myself throughout the day cuts into what I can dedicate to actually COMPLETING those tasks in a bad way. So this planner has made my life a lot easier. It's better than just a plain notebook because it has done the hard part for me already; formatting things in a way that's readable, and reminding me of what needs remembering, like daily tasks, schedule, and meals. I find it very peaceful to spend the first ten minutes of my day waiting for the morning meeting to start writing down my tasks and meditating on what has to be done. (The section of 'nice things about the day' has also helped me be more positive.) Obviously, no planner will cure ADHD. But the planner on top of my medication and existing coping methods (like focus apps, controlling my environment, and setting alarms to remind myself of important things) has really set me up for success at work. I recommend it for people with executive functioning trouble like me.

Laid out matter of factly, this efficient daily tear off pad provides a time plan for your day, complete with a few lines for focus, for priorities that matter to you; a 6 to 9 p.m. schedule and a to do list with little boxes to check off that is not overwhelming. There is an additional space for notes that I use to track spending, or sometimes something I want to remember, serving as a mini journal. But the real reason I gave this handy pad five stars is the fact it includes a space for recording meals, and fantastic series of eight little boxes beside category "Water"; a place to check off the proverbial eight glasses of water we know we should be drinking. I actually am now, or almost. There is a space to record meals or make suggestions to yourself..and best of all - a place to record the "good things that happened today".. place to remind oneself of exactly that. It is unflowery, no little quotations. Already making a difference in my daily life. I like the disposable pad aspect, but wouldn't mind if Two Tumbleweeds came up with something that could be kept intact..but maybe I would miss the sense of the temporal, that is liberating. Day done, tear off, and throw away and start again the next new day. Lynn H.
