Make sure it has sufficient power for the uses that you want it for
Works perfectly and does everything that I want it to do. I mainly power a tire, inflation pump that plugs into the usual cigarette lighter sockets. I like to use it independently of my car and this unit is ideal for that purpose. There are less expensive versions but which do not provide the electrical power the compressor needs. Some people may not be electrically savvy to take this into account. My unit looks well made but I have only just received it and so I cannot comment on it's long term durability. No worries so far.

Works Fine. Has held up for a couple of months now.
I have been using this power converter for a while now and it seems to be holding up well. Powers my little water cooler just fine. The only complaint is when I first got it I plugged it in to test it and it worked fine. I disconnected the AC power cord to move the power supply into its final position and when I tried to run it it would not work. After some testing the AC cord was bad. The cord is the standard PC power cord, and I have tons of those, so I just grabbed one and the Power Supply has been working fine ever since.

Practical.
It's compact and comes in a nylon case so it's great to keep in the trunk. I used it with the a/c adapter purchased separately to inflate four car tires to bring up the pressures from about 29 psi to 33 psi. Took about 10 minutes to do all of them. The digital gauge read about one pound lower than my manual pressure gauge. It's a litter loud possibly because the plastic body isn't insulated but it's not a big deal for me. It does the job I bought it for and the price seemed reasonable.

Very Happy - Works as advertised
I bought this to allow me to use my car air compressor to pump up a kiddie pool without having to plug the compressor into the car's cigarette lighter adapter. I plugged it into a 120 VAC outlet and plugged the compressor's lighter adapter into the unit and it works fine. It's sturdy, real easy to use and both power cords are heavy duty. A real pleasure.

works great
I have an air compressor for tires and sport equipment that only works with the cigarette lighter in my car. I needed something that I could plug into an outlet and use the air compressor. This adapter has worked perfectly for filling bicycle tires and car tires in the garage. That way I don't need to keep the car running while using the compressor. I just plug the adapter into an outlet and plug the compressor into the adapter and fill away.
