This Time Next Year by Sophie Cousens is unashamedly romantic – my kind of book. Quinn and Minnie born in the same hospital within minutes of each on New Years Eve have very different life styles, yet on certain occasions in different years, they happen to be in the same place – but do not meet up.They find each other eventually and an on-off relationship/friendship of sorts develops, until … well, I won’t give the ending away. Suffice to say, it ticked all the boxes for me and I can see this as a film, starring Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke ( a repairing from their success in Me Before You).I loved this book and can’t wait to see what Sophie Cousens produces next!

I read this book in 24 hours. From the minute I held it in my hand even the way the book felt (you all know a good book has the right feel and smell to it) It was exactly what I needed. A book where I could fall in love with the characters and the plot. I loved that I could relate being the exact same age as the protagonists, so the flashbacks were particularly nostalgic for me. Just a stunning love story with likeable characters and a heartwarming storyline. There were a few one liners that made me laugh out loud too which is always a lovely added bonus!Loved it. I’m sad I can’t keep reading how their story progresses (book two please?)

Lovely novel. Read it in 2 days. Yes it's typical happy ending chick lit but with great characters and a slightly zany style. I would definately recommend and it's this time of year is perfect to read this. I'll certainly be looking at reading The Suitcase (I looked up her next book already) when it's published next year. I bought the paperback of this and it was so worth it but at 99p on kindle it's a complete bargain.

Now what can I say, this book was like no other! Sophie has written one of the most delicately gorgeous love stories of all time. This book was devoured in one sitting. The story of how fate brings Minnie and Quinn together every few NYE is simply stunning. This book will leave you craving more! I know I am sitting by the door waiting for August 2021 for Sophie Cousen’s next book. A fabulous author, and a book lover praying for a sequel!

I’m not going to give too much away on this one but I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a feel good read with less cringe 😆🥰
