No. It didn't come with a package.

Can the highlighters be sharpened?

The highlighter when it wears down can be turned up to display more, but cannot be sharpened. They break off in little pieces when being used. I wasn't impressed.

Do these markers/pens come with a package to hold them?

No and mines didn't work at all !! None of the pens!! Good luck

Are the pens fine tip

The ink pens are fine tipped for underlining, the highlighters have a rounded tip for a broader line.
