Pint sized with a punch… The CRKT Clever Girl is superb!
I’m a fan of both CRKT, and ti’s products. I love knives, and my latest CRKT is the Clever Girl Kukri. Design, execution, and value are beyond that of others in the same categories- price-wise, quality, and concept. As a hideout knife, with the proper carriage, it would be both surprising- to the other guy, as well as devastating. Known for their quality products, CRKT does not stint on its wares. Even the sheath is ambidextrous. Sharp, wicked-sharp, out of the box, the dynamics of the Kukri blade are such that even an idiot would think twice, if on the wrong end of the blade. For serious social difficulties, or as a ‘round the camp knife feathering sticks for the fire, or for cutting food for one’s meals, this knife will suffice. A time tested design, well proven by the mighty Gurkhas, short in stature, giants in combat, the Kukri is in the same class as the Bowie, or my other favorite, TOPS’ Wild Pig Hunter. Both from Amazon, The Kukri inspires anyone who picks it up. It is well in league with my other Kukri’s that I’ve purchased from Amazon over the years. I love the modern way that Mr. Austin McGluan, the knife’s designer, upgraded the superb blade design. Everything about it is a joy. I hope he makes many more Kukri’s, as there are many, many possibilites. Now a fan. God Bless You and Yours, Sir!

Outstanding knife!
A marvelous knife design, made by an Army combat veteran, and profits go to help other American veterans. I'm an Army veteran, myself, and it's important, to me, yo support fellow veterans and their loved ones. I'm also a knife junkie, and a survival/self defense advocate, and this is one of the best, fixed blade knives I have ever encountered. The weight, size, blade quality, and handle design are just marvelous.

Excellent, Absolutely Unique Knife
I've had a fixed blade CRKT Clever Girl for a couple of years. Although I really like it, I can't legally carry it in my state. The folding Clever Girl preserves most of the original's looks and function in a package that fits in my pocket. The lock is SUPER strong. If you abuse locks, this is the knife to get. The D2 blade steel is tough and takes a great edge. It comes shaving sharp. The handle provides a good grip without shredding skin. The pocket clip allows the knife to ride very low in the pocket; yet, it is surprisingly comfortable, even when I ride my motorcycle. The blade flips open easily using the flipper tab and a slight flick of the wrist.I like this knife so much that I gave one to my friend. He really likes his, too.

Very fine edge, and very thin fine point.
I feel like I have a very fine, well thought out miniature breaking knife in my hand, or a very beefy filet knife or trimmer. Something a kind of street chef would not leave home without. The blade has a very fine edge that comes to a very fine thin point. The last inch of the spine is quite thin, and therefore limits its ability as a true combat knife that would maintain its thickness nearly into the point. In other words as a hard use combat knife this thing is going to lose some portion of its point 100% guaranteed. A stand in pry-bar this isn't, and a large bone would definitely snap that point off. Deployed as a defensive tool used to untangle yourself and get away it would work quite well. The knife out of the box was not as sharp as I would have liked, but about 10 minutes on a razor strap with green compound and it is now shaving razor sharp. How will I use this knife? Probably to help friends with prep work in their kitchens at get togethers and cookouts, as this is as fine a cutter as you will ever get at this price point.

Like it alot. Great quality.
Top notch from CRKT. Nothing to pick on. Is centered when closed. Rock solid when open, no wiggle. Edge grind is even. No flaws in manufacturing whatsoever. Opens and closes as should. Is not buttery smooth as some knives are due to the locking mechanism. Is still smooth, though not buttery. Haha. Can barely use the flipper but opens fine with the thumb stud. Action is a little tight. May break in. Or not. No biggie. Very nice knife overall. Is not lightweight by any means. But is also not my heaviest folder. Overall shape has a middle eastern vibe. Like it alot. No issues. Allthough I would love to see a lighter weight version of this knife. Similar to how Spyderco did the Manix 2 Lightweight. Is a bad ass knife nontheless. Somewhat intimidating looking. No regrets. Great knife.

She’s not just a CLEVER GIRL, she’s a GENIUS!!
Not just a weapon but a work of art!! Giving me the ability to do simple things like cut knife or myself while I was getting used to the rubberized grip which is great to hold on too. Don’t get me wrong, I cut myself a couple times while I was getting a feel and playing with it. That’s the best way to get familiar with any knife so you can take action without having to look at it, without thinking you’ve gone tactical on instinct!! I wear it horizontal behind my back and even the case is perfect. I normally get mine custom made but there was no jiggle or play at all. Just the sharpest Raptor claw whenever you need to turn from prey to hunter. A must for anyone that wants top of the line self defense. And it came SUPER sharp so watch out.

Great knife but..
Great knife, sharp outta the box, great lock system, love the style of the knife.. D2 not a bad steel however, for the price of this knife your basically paying more for the Ckrt deadbolt system then you are for the steel.. Only con's I have about is 1) It's a little small in my hands & its a 9 inch folding knife & 2) Not all that great of a flipper, its pretty smooth on the flipper tab.. So u doesn't always flip out had knives that was 20 bucks that was a better flipper

Nice knife but...
$100 dollars for SK5? You're outta your minds, CRKT. Cold Steel could make the same knife for half the price. They probably do. Only bought it because I've been a CRKT fan for my entire adult life and I wanted it for my collection, but dang, it stings. The handle is a bit slim, and aggressive texturing with the slightly-protuding flat spine is rather uncomfortable unless gripped a certain way, but that is a personal factor. Maybe it fits better in a smaller hand. It's pointy, it's sharp, it's mall ninja tacticool. But $100? Idk...
