I was expecting this book to be a really intelligent guide but the beginning of the book mentions Kylie Jenner repeatedly, who looks awful and the work she’s had done looks obvious and ridiculous. Couldn’t get pass the first few pages since Kylie Jenner was being namechecked as someone people want to look like.

This is a must book for anyone thinking about any medical facial procedure. There are so many procedures to choose from for the aging face. This will help you pick what you need and not waste money on procedures that don’t work.Dr. Jacono’s knowledge and artistry about the face is incredible!! He is a gifted Plastic Surgeon who has worked hard at developing his talent and knowledge. It’s great that he is sharing his knowledge.Also check out The Pro-Aging Playbook by Paul Jarrod Frank, MD.Both these books are must haves to aging gracefully!!!

I love this book for two reasons! First, it zeroes in on facial plastic surgery. Many books attempt to cover all types of surgery and have to sacrifice detail to get it all in one book. Second, this book offers great insight, covering surgery differences from west coast to east coast as well as differences in surgery for the Asian and African American Face. I highly recommend this book as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist who provides post-plastic surgery Lymphatic massage for my clients. Reading this book will enable you to ask the right questions and choose the best surgeon and procedure for you.

I have never had plastic surgery, but....when I learned about facial fillers and other procedures and began to look into these things, I was hesitant. This book is a wonderful, well-written guide that, if nothing else, emphasizes how much a consumer needs to read just such a book BEFORE making any kind of decision about procedures. It is also an excellent guide to skin care and could potentially save a person hundreds of dollars in creams and lotions that may be essentially placebos. Dr. Jacomo is also an excellent writer.
