8th Grade Homeschool Review: As a parent and homeschool educator, I've been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I'd like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it's worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we've found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education. Great book, pairs well with the big fat notebooks! I feel like these are easily digestable, everything is neatly organized into learning units, and they're a very big help for homeschool studies! I would definitely reccomend them to anyone who wants to give their child a little extra help and practice with Math subjects!

This book has been incredibly helpful for our middle schoolers. My husband is more of the math whiz in our family and he said that out of all the math books he has come across, this one is the best! We also own the Big Fat Math Notebook as well. Both are great! It does a fantastic job of breaking down the information, showing lots of examples, and then providing lots of different problems for the kids to work on themselves. We've used this over the summer twice now for our middle schoolers and both kids have said it helped a lot. We had them each do one lesson a day and then my husband went over the questions they struggled with if needed. All the answers are in the back of the book, which is helpful for parents. It covered things they struggled to understand during the school year and gave them a better understanding. Would highly recommend if you have a kiddo who struggles with math!

I’m loving these books. I homeschool and this year we decided to go back and just review everything before he starts Algebra next year. I don’t want my son just going through the motions and not remembering anything by time he gets done with high school. These are perfect for how we do school. He is a visual learner and the way these are laid out really makes it stick. And also he can’t do long explanations. He learns best with short and sweet. We have this workbook for just in case he needs to do some extra work in whatever he’s studying that day from the Notebook (sold separately). The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I bought brand new but it came used. There are a few pages that have been written on. But still a great price bc these are double the price at Book stores. I will just erase if I have to. Not too many pages as I can tell were written on. (But I would’ve preferred brand new since I paid for brand new.)

Great books they really have everything you need to know and I like these more than the normal textbooks

Great math workbook for middle school. Easy to read and understand. Book provides rationale and example equations! Has equations to work and answer key provided. Can help with reinforcing concepts that your student struggles with.

My daughter has always struggled with learning math. We bought this book for her, hoping it would help her with the basics and let her move though at her own pace. The instructions are short, simple and thorough and the exercises are enough for her to practice what she just learned without getting overwhelmed. She has been able to go through the units and chapters on her own, with minimal help from us and get the answers correct. I highly recommend this book for anyone whose child is struggling with math, or is self teaching new concepts. I'm going to be ordering the rest of the books for her.
