Cuts like butter
I purchased these to cut out my knife designs, I use 3/16" 1095 carbon steel, and these rip right through it. Blade is think making it maneuverable. I haven't had one break, they cut clean and have some flex.

Probably the best cut-off wheels in the world!!! I'm not kidding, these are incredible.
Once you try these, you won't use another similar-sized cutoff. Made in Japan. Extraordinarily thin cut-off wheel for extremely fast cuts that is also flexible so you can deform it to cut flush. I buy the 5" models.I have had a few breaks after deforming them for too long during flush cutting, but I knew I was abusing them, and the breaks were always just the center hub separating from the disk, no drama, not damage, and no injury. I've used over a hundred of these and never had one break apart and throw pieces. They have never been dangerous and I don't run a guard. I'm using a speed-controlled Makita 12amp 9564CV 5" grinder or a Husky brushless 18v 4.5" grinder with them. I typically run the Makita at full tilt, so about 10.5k RPM.You will be blown away at how fast these cut and how well they hold up. With the cordless, they really get you a lot more cuts per battery charge.

Perfect cutoff wheels
These Makita cutoff wheels have a little bit of magic in them. I have tried several different brands and never get as good results as these. The super thin material is surprisingly sturdy in steel, aluminum and plastics. Wear is really not an issue if you let the wheel do the cutting. Some people like to push the wheel into the cut, if you do that you will have very short life from these. If you let the wheel do the work they will cut tremendously and have ridiculously long life. When I say ridiculous, I cut 18 feet of 1/8" x 1 1/2" plate steel lengthwise with one wheel. Totally the wrong tool for that but I was in a bind out in a field and it worked flawlessly. Makita saved the day.

Best wheel I've found
These are exceptional blades for cutting metal ! I have used a thousand other cutoff wheels and worn out 20 grinders over the years . How about getting 10 crosscuts and a couple of rips on roof metal sheets from one $1.60 wheel. I have cut 1/2" x 6" mild plate and got 6 cuts with a cordless grinder. The thin kerf and high quality produce effortless cuts and when a failure occurs from abuse, the wheels fail at the hub and never shatter. Never force these, let them grind and they last better than most

used it to cut through T304 stainless steel exhaust pipe (about 2 mm width)
I'm not too experienced with angle grinders or cutting pipe, but I've been experimenting with cutting discs and I'm quite satisfied with how these cut through the hardened stainless steel exhaust pipe pieces I cobbled together in order to fit an aftermarket muffler on my car. After my experience, I'd say the best way to get a nice even(-ish) cut is to groove a decent outline with a chain tube cutter and then allow this nice thin blade to cut along that groove - in a small fraction of the time it would take for even a higher end chain tube cutter to finish the job (for me, anyway.) In safe cutting areas (ie: NOT underneath a car in your driveway, lol) I found these discs to be the closest to using a Dremel, and of course they cut much faster. Spreading a little cutting oil on the area to be cut also seemed to help the blade last longer.

Impressed!
Bought these because they were the thinnest wheels I could find, expecting I would use up or break a lot of them... they are extremely durable! Awesome!

Too thin to fit my ancient black and decker angle grinder
These disks were too thin to clamp down on my old black and decker angle grinder. Even took them to my local hardware shop and they couldn't get them to clamp down tight.Bought a couple of 3.2mm thick discs and they worked ok.They put these disks on their DeWalt grinder and they fitted fine so gave them to them.Too much trouble to return. The thickness is worth bearing in mind if your angle grinder is very old.Don't be put off buying them by my review unless like me you have an old grinder.Three stars seems very harsh but if they don't fit you cant use them.

Great cutting disc
I paid the extra pennies for a known brand, as I didn't want to run the risk of a cheaper product shattering and causing injury, especially as this is a thin disc. I'm very happy so far. It cut through sheet steel like butter, and made a job I wasn't looking forward to completing very easy indeed. Don't skimp on stuff like this, pay the money and keep safe with a decent brand, regardless of whether or it's this brand or another well established manufacturer.

Great
I recently bought a larger angle grinder and was looking for bigger and better discs. I cut 3 to 8mm mild steel and I have to say that these did a fantastic job at doing so. The disc did not break down or shatter or overheat quickly. I used other well known brand names with no success but Makita nailed it... These are expensive but yea kinda worth it tbh.

Outstanding
Cut through solid steel railings like butter, these discs are amazing! I was worried about buying the thinner discs, that they'd shatter easily, but they actually made the job easier. Halfway through cutting the first 2" thick bit of steel I started to wonder if it was hollow, because it was so easy to cut through! But no, it was solid steel and these just made the work easy. There will be my go-to from now on.
