I would definitely recommend sizing down. I’m wearing it under the romper shown in the picture that has relatively thin material. The shapewear is extremely comfortable and I actually had to re-order it. The first time I ordered it I got a large and I was able to hook it to the last hook. I was prepared to cuss this thing out - I read reviews that sometimes this may be hard to get into but it's worth it. Ordering an XL for my apple-shaped 185lb 5'3 body, I was able to quickly and easily get this on and with a little bit of effort hook into the tightest setting. Looks great and smooths me out for a sheath dress!Will update the review once I get in the smaller size - if it helps, my hips are at 44.5" and my waist is 37". I do not have a booty and my waist is only slightly smaller than my hips. My belly is definitely wider than my thighs.Wearing this XL, I wouldn't go as far as to say it's the most comfortable thing, but it is holding me in nice and tight and I'm sitting and breathing with minimal discomfort. I purchased this for a wedding, so once I get the smaller size in I'll compare the two and go with the most comfortable for a long night!

I am from the capital of fajas (Colombia) and I approve this shapewear! I was looking for something similar quality like the ones I buy from my country, I took the chance with this one and I loved it!. It is very comfy, does it's job perfect and is very discreet.I usually wear a size 12 in jeans (I always buy stretchy fabrics) and the size Medium was perfect for me. At first, I thought I was not going to be able to bend down with it but the material is really good and didn't bother me at all.My measurements are 33 inches waistline and 45 inches hips/butt. I have thick tights, so I stretched out the elastic around my legs before putting it on and it fitted ok, didn't hurt and neither showed through my dress.Also, here is a little tip about going to the bathroom while wearing this garment.You are not supposed to wear panties while wearing this for quick and easy access to pee (btw, the material in the crotch area is also very smooth) haha!! And if you are worried that while peeing the stream might be too strong and go all over the place and wet your garment on the sides, then the best way to pee is backwards... meaning like facing the toilets tank. Yup! Haha! Sounds crazy but thats how we do it back at home and the garment always stays dry. I've been wearing shapewears since I was 17.Good luck! And will definitely be buying more! ✌🏻

I love this faja but the lace on thighs should come down closer to knees to prevent rolling up from thighs rubbing. This also needs a breast lift strap. Fix those 2 minor items and its 5 stars.The garment was hell to get into but once I got it up and hooked and zipped it was great.I had to do a lot of pulling and tugging to get it to fit my butt and groin area which took away from inner thigh area. Which is why lace should be longer. Oh the stitching on the right thigh lace was mis stitched but, I can sew so I can fix it.I love the stays on the sides. They really help with shaping.Im 5'3" 198 lbs and i purchased a 1x. I have really thick thighs especially my inner thighs, a big fupa and small waist. It also did its job with lifting my bum. I'd recommend this faja and I will repurchase.

The Faja is good material and comfortable. Buy 2 sizes smaller than the suggested in the chart if you want to snatched look. If you just want some support get your regular size. At $39 dollars it’s a fair price but anything more than that isn’t worth for this one. Seller shouldn’t keep changing the pricing as is running suggested customers away. I send the link to some friends and they didn’t buy it because it’s now more expensive and the faja isn’t worth the extra money. 🤷🏽‍♀️ so if you see it on sale grab it but if not keep looking it also shows under your clothes, so can not wear it with everything.

This is really great shapewear that gives you a snatched look. However, it may run big based on your body type. I am size 12 and hourglass shaped with a pretty flat stomach and smallish love handles and BIG thighs and hips. Based on the reviews I sized one size down so I got a large. However, I could fasten it on the last hook. You may want to two or even three sizes down. I am going to buy another one in a medium. Either way I love it and will definitely buy another one.Note: these are big thigh friendly (and my thighs are big. Size 12, could be 14 big).

This definitely shapes you! I have love handles and hip dips that I am extremely self conscious about and this smoothed everything out making me look like my hips were more straight/curved rather than my regular indents. It also did a nice touch at lifting the booty. I was very impressed. The only thing is I have a good amount of back fat, and the style of this being meant for it being strapless just emphasized my back fat at the top of it. For this reason I will be returning it. But this is no fault of the shaper, just the style of it as this would happen with any shaper this style with my type of body.

I looked at the size chart went by my measurements and got the L. This thing is outstanding!!! The corset part had 3 levels of tightness ans it really holds you in. The butt lifter is amazing omggg. And it's perfect because the straps old the corset and everything up past the little love handles. I'm buying in all the colours!!

I love this SO much. I recently bought a body con dress that clings to every little roll and dent. I’m medium in size normally and I bought a medium in this and it fit perfectly! I was able to clasp it on the third level and although it’s not the most enjoyable thing in the world, it keeps everything smooth and flattering and I’m willing to suffer with it on. I might just move it to the second clasp next time and see if I can move around better but I’ve already told all my friends to get one. It has silicon around the shorts so it doesn’t roll up and the zipper at the crotch goes all the way to the back. The straps are detachable which is perfect when I need it for a strapless dress. It ends right at bra level so it doesn’t show in the back of my dress. Ahhh this was such a life saver and the quality is amazing I can see this lasting for a long time.

I got to wear this once. It unzips to make going to the washroom easier. I unzipped it and as soon as I sat, it tore. I had no issues getting it on, doing up all the clasps (on the tightest setting) I even did a squat test and this was while the zipper was closed. I wish this never ripped because otherwise it’s a great bodysuit.

La faja la pedí para mi mamá pero la verdad es de buena calidad , cómoda como ella la describió.Lo único que tuvimos que pedir una talla más pequeña ya que no había mediana y las reseñas decían que venía amplia y pues nos arriesgamos a pedir chica y le quedó excelente.El único detalle que no le doy 5 estrellas es que para poder ir al baño hay que desabrocharla toda y volver a ponértela es aparte si no es muy buena.Pero de ahí en fuera todo excelente buena compresión y levantamiento de glúteos.
