NoctuaNA-HC3 chromax.black.swap, Heatsink Cover for NH-D15, NH-D15S & NH-D15 SE-AM4 (Black)

If like me you are not a fan of RGB or AIO's but like to go premium in quality then Noctua must be on your list of choices. I chose the NH D15. The best tower cooler by a mile. I ordered the heatsink covers to put the finishing touches to the PC which was installed in a white case. So I used the white inserts. It looked stunning. Before writing this review, I unfortunately stripped out and rebuilt the system with a different cooling solution, so I have no pictures to post.The item comes with a selection of colour insert options to match your build. So you will not be left dissapointed. Great value and an excellent cosmetic product option from Noctua (I am a Noctua fan boy.....erm.....pardon the pun 😂). Shipping was fast and installation super easy. Recommended.

Why only 2 stars ?.The item I received had clearly been opened and handled, torn cardboard inside of box and the red insert had its protective film peeled off and hastily reapplied.So I'm pretty peeved to tbh as these are not cheap.Anyways had a good look through the rest of the box and nothing missing or damaged and as it's to much hassle to return fitted them to my NH-D15 Chromax which arrived at the same time and thankfully was brand new and untouched by grubby hands.Looks good and super easy to fit.Bit expensive for what they are but do look the biz.Now I just have to figure out how I can add some LEDs to them.

Got the covers for my NH-D15 Chromax for a couple of reasons, 1) to keep dust from dropping in-between the fins. 2) to prevent the fans mounted in the top of my case from disrupting the airflow thru the finstack. 3) aesthetics, it looks "neater" with the covers on. The covers were very simple to fit.

Works for the purpose it was developed, I guess.But despite staying in place after install, I would prefer something with a bit more snug. It comes out easily and may pose a problem during transport.

Makes your cpu 5-6 degrees hotter, stay away
