This is a great cable with solid construction at high-stress points. The connectors are very tight, but not so tight that they scrape up the jacks. They fit very snugly and securely. The connector jackets are metal and they have a nice matte, kind of sandblasted feel to them. Both the connectors and the cable have nice tactile properties. Also, the UGREEN logo is only on one side of each jacket, so it's easy to tell what orientation the USB is in before plugging it in. That's a big plus for me as I always seem to guess wrong. So far I've used this cable to charge at four different currents (5V @ 1.0A, 5V @ 1.6A, 5V @ 2.0A, and 9V @ 1.6A) and it appears to work well with all four, charging faster with greater current instead of stepping it down to a lower current. It's certainly capable of modern high-speed charging. My only complaint is that the cable is a bit stiff and doesn't like to conform or twist very much, so if you have a device plugged in and move the cable too much it causes the microUSB end to apply a twisting force inside the device and I'm concerned it could lead to a loose connection over time. I have braided audio cables that don't exhibit this property, so it's not just because it's braided. It's a minor problem and doesn't affect the usability of the product at all if you leave the device still or don't move around too much.

I needed a short cable that would fit my kindle Oasis. I wanted a high quality cable that would fit well. Over time my previous cable no longer fit snugly. This is a good looking cable that works well and charges my Kindle quickly. It fits perfectly ,nice and snugly. It’s a good value for a high end cable that should last many years . I got the 1.5’ cable it’s the perfect size for my counter.

Like most of you, I am SICK of dealing with cheap, low-quality cords. After my OEM cable fell apart, (which they all do), I started buying replacements. I started with cheap, 2-piece bargain sets, found online. Then to W-Mart "better than original, guaranteed to work" cords. Next, a "Acme Supercable" from a late-night informercial (I got a free mousepad). Then, "really guaranteed to work" auction site cords (I tried six of those). Finally, stole my wife's OEM cord, which also fell apart and caused a pout from her, I'm still recovering from. All of these choices caused immediate rejection by my devices with a pop-up message telling me the device was smarter than me and didn't appreciate my lame attempt to fool it. I now have a box full of these "reject cords", that I'm using to weave a hammock. All of those cords would serve man better, if used as replacement weed eater line. But THEN, I found this one ! I LOVE the extra length (18"). 12"was too short and the standard 3' is too long. It's sturdy, with heavy wire inside, well made, with nice solid connectors and heavy outer braid. Plus. This is a true Fast Charge cable and supports my Quick Charge 3.0 chargers. This cable is fairly stiff and doesn't fold up quite as small as the thin, cheap ones, but I love that. Trust me, stop trying to get decent "bargain" cords. Get several of these, in lengths you like and BE DONE WITH IT ! I'm ordering more today.

I bought these for my wife. She has used them for just a few weeks and is not hard on them so it's no surprise that they are still working. They do seem well made though. Be aware that there are some inaccuracies on the webpage for these cables as well as the newer version. Initially, a UGREEN rep said this: "There is no difference between the two cables except their appearances." That was clearly contrary to the illustrations, and published specs, so I asked again and got this reply from UGREEN: "In terms of the transmitting speed and charging power, these two cables are the same. Their AWG specifications are both 28AWG +22AWG, and we have reported it to our colleague to make a correction. The only difference between them is their connectors. One is nickel-plated, and the other is gold-plated which is more expensive and anti-corrosion." ~ Had I known that before ordering I probably would have purchased the less expensive cables, because while gold is technically better than nickel, it just doesn't matter in an application like this (USB cables). The cheaper cables appeared to have better strain reliefs, slightly smaller power wires (#23 gauge) and better construction -- but that is based on the illustrations which the UGREEN CSR said are not accurate. Still, even if it is true that, "The only difference between them is their connectors. One is nickel-plated, and the other is gold-plated...", as a technician I can't see spending tice as much for gold plating.

Slim, durable, the right length, works like a charm. Just what I needed.

The plastic around Micro USB end is pretty thin, which is exactly what I was looking for, because I needed it to fit into a plug on a Blackburn bike light that I couldn't get my other old phone chargers into. Also it's pretty reasonably priced.

Me sorprendió, cargo mas rapido de lo normal mi celular y eso que es un modelo de celular viejito y es mas largo de lo que se veía en la foto por hay unos 2metros de cable tiene, el cable es grueso y se ve es resistente.

Lo compre por que mi cable original de cargador de mi Sony a6400 se me perdió y probé con otro cables y no cargaba solo con algunos con 5 pines y con este quedo perfecto es de calidad ya conocida como es UGREEN , hasta ahora todo bien.
