Complete German (Learn German with Teach Yourself)

Paper size is A5, no CD, but price is acceptable for me

great book with good content that gies you the opportunity to intuitively learn the langauge. only issue is the seller's false advertising: I ordered the "hardcover" but received a papercopy instead.

the CD is missing. which means big part of the learning is incomplete!

I am working my way through the book (Chapter 8 so far). I like it because each chapter takes on one topic and works it pretty thoroughly. I notice that as I advance I am challenged with generally higher tasks in reading, writing, speaking and listening. I was able to link to the free online audio clips without too much trouble, and use them them easily now. The speakers in the audio clips speak clearly and with good emotion.

It actually exceeded my expectations, and also the audio from the app makes it even better, I recommend this book to anyone who is learning German, wished I knew about it earlier and it is also interesting, already half way through, plan to go over it at least 3 times, the size also makes it easy for me to read it in the bus or whenever I am in transit, some terms and rules in German language that I was finding difficult before now makes much more sense to me because of the explanations from the book, all in all, great German language learning resource, kudos to the writers( I think this is the longest review I have ever written 😀)

Bem didático, bom conteúdo, se atentem ao tamanho, ele é BEM pequeno - a foto engana - e não vem com o CD como descrito no título do anúncio. Mas o importante que é o conteúdo: é excelente.

Le livre a arrivé tôt, le shipping et rapide. Le livre est comme décrit, presque neuf. Je n'ai pas commencer de lire encore mais c'est un gros livre et c'était moins cher. C'est bien.

Muy buen método, me deja satisfecho la forma en la que te introduce el lenguaje. Tal vez el único pero es que el libro asume que ya te aprendiste el vocabulario de la lección pasada y te lo ponen en la nueva y te tienes que regresar (pero bueno, eso lo hacen todos los libros). Es un gran plus el que no traiga CD y que puedas acceder a los audios online. Si se lo preguntan, el libro no le da mucho peso a la gramática y puede que se quede un poco corto en vocabulario, por lo que evidentemente es bueno complementar con otros recursos. Pero definitivamente es mi método principal y lo recomiendo.
