After two years of toaster frustration, I've finally found a winner in the Zwilling Enfinigy Cool Touch Toaster. In the past two years alone, I've purchased a Black+Decker ($40) and a Cuisinart ($80), both of which promised even toasting. Both failed miserably.The Black+Decker was a complete hit-or-miss, burning one side while leaving the other pale. The Cuisinart, while slightly better, was still inconsistent, and definitely not worth the doubled price tag. I was ready to give up on the perfect slice of toast.Then, I decided to take a chance on the Zwilling Enfinigy. I was hesitant given the price point, but the reviews were promising, and I was desperate. And let me tell you, it delivered!The Zwilling toasts perfectly, every single time. I've used it for everything from thin slices of sourdough to thick bagels, and the results are consistently golden brown and evenly toasted. No more burnt edges or soggy middles!What I particularly appreciate is the simplicity of the design. The single knob adjustment makes it incredibly easy to dial in the perfect level of toastiness. No complicated settings or confusing buttons. Just a simple, reliable toaster that does its job exceptionally well.Pros:Even and consistent toasting.Simple, intuitive one-knob operation.Cool-touch exterior (a nice safety feature).Sleek, modern design.Cons:A bit pricier than other toasters.If you're tired of toasters that underperform, I highly recommend the Zwilling Enfinigy. This is the best toaster we have ever owned. So far, we have used it to toast bread, bagels, and English muffins. It takes a little (actually a lot) longer for the items to toast but they toast perfectly. It's well worth the wait. I make my expresso while I'm waiting for the toaster to finish doing its thing. The black toaster looks great on our black granite countertop so no reason to put it away after using it. It's easy to clean too.

Looks like a great toaster but I apparently got a dud. Tripped every single outlet we plugged it into and never got it to work. Moving house so all the packaging is gone and I’m stuck with this non-starter.

Finally, a toaster that works. I twice received the same toaster with broken buttons and LED read out.I’ve used the Henkel knives for years. The same quality appears part of their small appliances. I’m trusting the well-built, sturdy toaster will hold up and is a product of the company’s high standards. It does get hot on outside. Not a problem for nearby items that aren’t easily flammable. It cools faster than others, heats evenly and appearance adds to any kitchen counter.

It toasts bread just fine! No problems there; nice and even browning. Well constructed and big enough to toast pretty much anything you've got.What is disapointing for the money: The numbers on the adjustment knob are small and hard to see. The indicators/markings on the bagel, warming and defrosting bottons are nearly impossible to see (the typical black on black), so memorize their positions. Using the begal setting will never burn your bagel, you'll need to turn the browing knob to maximum to get a reasonable browing, at least with the brand name bagels I use.It's a good toaster and a fair value, but not the best I was hoping for.

This might get a higher review once the problem is resolved. Will update as to how they handle a problem. Used once, and the toast turned out evenly toasted on both sides. I know that sounds strange to be excited about, but many toasters don't do that! It is not as stainless steel as is pictured. It is more like silver. It's unobtrusive on the counter, which is fine, but if looking to match stainless steel appliances, it is not the same material or color. The problem. is the crumb tray won't stick. It pops out and stays out. For an expensive toaster, and it being just out of the box, I am frustrated I have to return it right away to get it fixed (buy a new one.) Why is this an issue on such an expensive and well-rated item? I have to now pack up, find a box (for I threw away the large shipping box.) And then have to wait for the credit to buy again. Not a great experience for a brand new product. Not making me happy.

Works great! I have been through 5 toasters and this is the only one that I have found that works as well required.
