Tofu Press - Presses Tofu for Better Flavor and Texture

I was very excited about this product. I liked how clean it was, simple to use, and that it maintained all the tofu juice as it was being pressed instead of having to dirty a towel or maintain the juice elsewhere. My third time using it, however, my hand slipped as I was trying to place the hook to the top part to start pressing. Because of this, the plastic hook broke right in half. So now it is kind of basically useless unless I'm trying to press it very unevenly. I can't say its a bad product, but I hope people can learn from my mistake and be very careful with the plastic hooks. :,)

I use this frequently and I have no complaints whatsoever. Definitely recommend.

There's nothing to dislike about this tofu press; saves me so much time and now it makes it simple for me to add quite a lot more tofu to our diet. My wife and I do not eat meat or fish, but do eat a bit of dairy and eggs and is one of the few beans my wife can tolerate. I love it--keep it out on my kitchen counter to remind me that it can always be time to make tofu. It may be difficult for the elderly or those with artritic hands to pull the bands up to the press, but I suppose you could cut the tofu blocks down to make it work for you. I'm a satisfied customer--great buy!

Works well, but reservoir is too shallow and must empty half way through press process. Easy enough to workaround but annoying nonetheless.
