Solid sound for the price
Bought this to replace an aftermarket sub that was previously installed on my 01 Yukon after it blew out. I'll admit I was on the fence at the idea of buying this brand of sub as I usually read so many negative comments. But in the end, after comparing price points, and features of quite a few subs, including the same model that was already installed in the truck which I was more than satisfied with, I took the plunge. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised that this sub out performs my old sub and has a more solid bass. Now this thing won't win any competitions but is more than enough to give an everyday driver an enhanced listening experience. Install was short and sweet, especially since my factory sub box was already predrilled for an aftermarket sub. Just be sure to wire the sub down to whatever resistance level is needed in your application.

Versatility and performance
Installed this in a CLASSIC CAR. Honestly! All the run around I got from "people in the know" about how to add one sub-woofer with no rear channels, (only one hole in the rear shelf) Even the radio "Tech" didn't know what he was talking about.IT'S SIMPLE! You don't need separate amplifier(s). for the woofer. To hook up your radio with only 2 front channels and one woofer to add a modest amount of bass to the sound, buy one of these dual coil sub-woofer. Hook the left rear channel to one coil and the right rear to the other coil. GREAT sound from 2 small (4X6) front speakers and this. I'm one happy camper!

Great bang for the price
Big sound from this little speaker. I installed as a replacement in a bass tube, left it at low volume for about a week according to the manufacturer's recommendations and cranked it up this weekend. So far, so good... hopefully it lasts as long as the kenwood i heard in the enclosure previously (more than 15 years)

Surprised me with impressive sound quality from a small sub!
This little guy actually impressed the hell outta me. It is not a "direct fit" for my 2002 GMC Yukon (as the stock sub has 4 bolt mounts, you will need some self starting screws and don't crank them down). Souns super good in the truck. Nice replacement for the factory blown sub. Looks cool thru the grill too.

Sad sub.
I have a pair of 180 watt Sony xplod 6x9 speakers (made in 1996!!) that eat this speaker ALIVE with the amount of bass they produce over this crackling sub woofer. It’s really sad. I am using a Boss amp BTW.
