The Romance of Arthur

I ordered this book for my English 200 class (Arthurian Literature). The book has an introduction to every story, and its written in plain English, instead of that confusing Shakespearian English.

As advertised and faster than the campus bookstore. Also cheaper.

The labels of "description" given above aren't appropriate for this anthology. Good scholarship and fine variety. With a PhD in English with my dissertation on Guinevere, I was impressed.

The Romance of Arthur was overall a well written and organized piece of text. The editors did a good job of translating the text for the readers.

A set text on a course I'm doing but modern English and highly truncated excerpts make it limited for the serious scholar.
