Mannikin to Model Clothes On.
I haven't opened this up as it's a Birthday gift. I bought it along with a book on how to make clothes for dolls because I thought my neice could model them on the mannikin, along with the book. Looks pretty good, bought extra fabric as you don't get much with this. Think it's a good gift for an 8yr old.

My 10yr old daughter is hooked on these!
This is now the 3rd or 4th set I have bought for my now 10yr old daughter. She loves these sets and they are well made and well designed.Highly recommended.

Need to add more bits of fabric. Old fashioned cotton handkies are ideal perfect for 5 years +
Bought for Christmas for 5 year old granddaughter. She loves it and can do it herself, sometimes help needed to hold fabric in place while she pushes the fabric into the gaps with the plastic ‘pins’. Fine fabric needed or won’t push into the spaces.

Helpful reviews led to this suitable choice
Niece had fun with some various designs which she was pleasantly surprised to have managed. The model design really does work well for layering and tweaking styles. And no mess at all. A good simple design which does the job so I'm pleased I found it.

Usability
These are a bit of a waste of money but granddaughter wanted it so she got it.

Not impressed
I was disappointed that there was very little material to go with manaquin. This won't entertain my grand-daughter for long. Not worth what I paid for it. I kept it because it was what my grand-daughter had asked for.

So much better than expected
9yrs, easy to use, quickly mastered and able to develop design ideas in a short period of time. Added in other bought fabrics to supplement, but not necessary at first. Surprisingly good design, all the slots work well. Clever idea, sturdy

Brilliant concept.
My daughter, who is now 18, had this when she was about 7 til about 11. Bought this small starter set for my great niece for Christmas, along with all the original sets of my daughter's, freshly washed and ironed, along with all the little accessories.Extremely hard wearing, even the more delicate fabrics and really allows the children's imagination run wild. Declared best Christmas present and she now wants to be a fashion designer!
