This is a very sizable tome, but don't let the size fool you - the bulk of the book is setting information, followed by style notes and inspirations for costuming and props for games, and then a comparatively normal (for live action games) rules section. The setting itself is the best kind of post-apocalyptic: humanity has found ways to survive and thrive under the restrictions the "Æster" has imposed, even learning new sciences to take advantage of the weird properties of the material. The bulk of the conflicts will be interpersonal or (for large enough games) faction-based, as is typical for LARPs.
