I am using Barge's to patch the canvas on my pop up tent. I applied the glue to both pieces; by the time I got the glue on the 2nd piece, or the patch, the glue on the first part, the tent, had flashed just enough to be ready for the two to stick together. Once I had the two stuck together, I used either hand pressure or an old fashioned "rolling pin" such as used in baking pies, and firmly pressed the two parts together. Although it was dry within an hour, I waited a full 24 hours to be sure they were attached permanently. Since that time, my tent has had a total of 3" or rain with 30 to 35 MPH winds and everything stayed dry as a bone.Nothing worked as good for me as Barge's Glue in patching the canvas on my tent. Why is this listed under the Toys and Games section for 1-2 year olds?

Likely because it can be used to repair just about anything a 1-2 yr old can break.

Why is the labeling not correct and it looks like it it doesnt fit, and there looks like there was a label torn off

I don't have the answer as to why, but my can came the same way. The label is too short for the can, and has lines across it as though the printer was running out of ink. The small print on the label is slightly blurry.

Would this work to glue vinyl to a car, then later on be able to get off without hurting the car

I certainly wouldn't try it. This is awesome stuff. Makes an incredible bond. Chanced are you'd never get the vinyl off. If you did the solvent needed to remove the glue would likely damage any paint on the vehicle.

The best foam rubber glue I know of.

This stuff is great for foam. Let it tack up on both sides for a few minutes, then press it together. Don't breathe the fumes. Well ventilated areas only. I've used it for costumes and puppets and all sorts of crazy projects. Parental supervision is a must.

it is what is described. Prove quality glue for leather work and general purpose glueing. Will last a while, come with its own applicator brush.
