Quoridor is great just like the others of its type. It is simple and abstract. This one unlike the others can play 2 or 4. It is better at 2 than 4 in my opinion. The goal is to reach the other side, but you have barricades to block your opponent, but they can also block your path. It is fun and plays different than quarto, qawale, and pylos. I love the mini versions better than the big versions too!

This game is super easy to pick up and every time I play with a new player, they are eager to play another round. It’s super fun, super simple and small enough to take it with me to the bar.I have yet to plat 4 players, but looking forward to it.

I got this game for a trip my wife and I took. I wanted something that wasn't just a card game but was pretty portable. This game did that. The game itself is pretty fun, nicely made, classic wood look.The reason for the 1 star off is because the game after being played a couple times gets a little repetitive. Although each game is a little different it feels the same so playing the game a lot of times in a row gets boring. The game moves quick with 2 players so you can run through a few rounds very quickly.Game is fun but not something you can play for hours.

This is a perfect 2 or 4 person strategy game! The expected winner can change on a dime as one block can flip everything around! There are lots of different kinds of strategies which makes each round unique!

Quoridor demonstrates of the oldest of principles by having players decide each turn whether they should progress to their goal or put obstacles in the way of their opponent. It's an apparently simple decision but the other player will of course react to your own or try to alter what your doing with his or her own choices.Quoridor is a about getting your pawn to the other end of the board. You can move up and down, left and right once per turn or you can choose to put a little wooden panel on the board, one at a time, to try and build a labyrinth that blocks the players way towards the goal. It's a quick and clever game that can be learned in minutes but will keep you thinking of what the best strategies are for a long time. Give it a try and see where your instincts guide your own play.

Hours of fun

I bought this board because it looked like a lot of fun. I figured there really wasn't much difference between the regular board and the travel set, so I bought this one. The game is fun, but I feel as though the novelty wears off pretty soon. It's not hard, and the games are short. I think this game is very good for entertaining guests in a hurry. I have played with a few people, but they seem to only want to play about a game or so. It's not very deep. I would suggest getting this game if you lack short 2-player games.
