Took this on a cruise and it worked great. Small enough to pack in luggage with enough white noise to make it pleasant. Also for such a small size stirs quite a bit of wind.

This is the ultimate travel fan! It is a little powerhouse than gives us the air movement we need in a hotel room. It is lightweight and durable. The cord is plenty long and the legs to support it are strong, yet flatten down to fir in a travel bag. We even packed this fan for a Jamaica vacation. We never travel without this!

It’s good for a desk fan. Quiet and puts out a decent amount of air. I had hopes of using it for hotel travel because of its perfect size, but it’s actually not loud enough for that. So if you’re looking for a travel fan to block out noise at night, look elsewhere. I wish it just had one or two more levels of speed (and noise level) and it would be perfect. It does fit perfectly into a suitcase though.

Pack able, lightweight, and powerful for its size. Great little fan kept me cool at night. Makes a soft humming sound but not noisy on low or high speed. Highly recommend.

Pros: Small, good airflowCons: The base/legs.I like to sleep with a fan running and wanted a fan that provided good airflow yet was small and took up minimal space in my luggage during a trip. My last trip I took a different Vornado fan which was small and too weak, and the previous trip I took another Vornado I like, but was way too big. However, this one checked the boxes. It worked well for my needs having just got back from 3 weeks in Japan. The problem however is the plastic folding legs. There is a lot of resistance when opening and closing them, and this puts strain on the legs. About halfway through the trip, one of them snapped off while closing the fan for the night. I then noticed stress cracks elsewhere on the same leg and the other one as well. It does not stay upright without both legs, but I was able to temporarily repair with with some superglue and tape and being very slow and deliberate with opening. I am not sure it would survive another trip though.

Small, but surprisingly effective. I've had multiple Vornados in different shapes and sizes and find them an excellent value.

This is the best little travel fan and can’t believe how inexpensive it is! I just left the one I had in a hotel room in Texas and immediately ordered another one! It keeps you cool and stuffy hotel rooms and it’s not noisy. It’s lightweight for traveling in your suitcase.

Note: Purchased used for reduced price. That said: packaging was slightly damaged and had been re-taped. Product inside was unharmed and had but a few fingerprints. Wiped up nicely. This is a corded fan and does not need batteries. There was a remote in the box, however no instructions as to what it is for. The black fan has a nice design me the black color looks great on my desk at work. I work in a large stifling hot and stale room with many desks. We are all wearing headsets. This fan on low power is quiet enough for those in the room who are on calls or in video meetings. I have the fan pointed directly at me and it helps me get through the day without breaking a sweat! The high power is much more effective but the noise affects my coworkers. But overall a great little desk fan that meets its intended function and is very affordable.
