I've been using these boxes (several different sizes) for outdoor Christmas light shows and they have been a great choice! I've used them for several Christmas seasons and they remain totally waterproof and unaffected by UV so far. Latches are still working perfectly also. I have various types of electronic devices and boards inside each and they have shown no signs of corrosion or other weather effects. They are fairly solid, not flimsy at all. They also come with a backboard that mounts inside, onto which you can mount whatever you want to put inside. Just do a little prior design to determine what size box you need and order the one that has at least the dimensions you need to fit your contents.

Great quality and price, a bit bigger than suggested, very durable and sturdy plastic material perfect thickness, design, easy opening, I personally didn't have any mounting options issues

The box has a soft rubber gasket all along the lip of the opening which makes the box completely waterproof UNLESS you use the included glands. The latch mechanism compresses the gasket to create a waterproof seal when the lid is latched shut. However if you need to use one of the glands to run a wire into the box, it will only be water resistant. The glands are NOT waterproof. But this can be remedied with a dab of silicone caulk injected into the gland after the wire is inserted. There is no waterproof gasket between the gland and the box so inject the silicone caulk until it appears on the opposite side. I used the box to create a waterproof AA battery holder to supply power for a sonar fish finder on a canoe. It works great for this and even holds a spare set of AA batteries.

This is a great little project box. I like the included brackets for mounting and the screws included for attaching the brackets are solid. The box appears to have a great seal and I have had no problems with moisture as of yet. The clips are sturdy. I am using them for small power supplies and small pixel controllers at various places throughout our light show with great success. My only thought is that the included cable glands are rather large, especially considering the overall size of the box. I just used some others I keep around the shop. Great product and will purchase again.

This is very small, but perfect for my particular outdoor project. The plastic thickness is very rigid and not flimsy. I drilled holes in the back/bottom so that I could mount it on a wall with no problems. It is highly water resistant. I had to drill some half-inch holes in the side for wiring (I sealed it with silicone glue) I don't think there will be any water infiltration. All in all, I am pleased with the quality, value, design and fitness for my purposes. If I need a another one of these boxes, or a different size, I would certainly consider more from the seller.

Nice box (5.9x3.9x2.8). I 3D printed a base plate to fit the screw hole spacing on the inside, then screwed my PCBs to the base plate. The threaded insert size was not specified anywhere, so I dug through my box of random screws, found one that fit, then went to Lowes to try it in their bolt tester. The bolts that fit are M4x0.7x6.

I received this about one and a half hours ago and I have already mounted the DC drive it was meant for and all is well. This is for an indoor project so I won’t be testing the water proof but the box seems well made the seal looks good and it latches tight. Good quality, fast delivery and a good price. This junction box is built very well. Not thin and flimsy at all. The latches and hinges work great, and are solid. The mounting grid plate at the bottom is fantastic. Using the correct screws, they will thread into the squares and hold very strong. Includes mounting brackets that screw to the back of the box for mounting onto a wall. Easy to do required cutouts with the proper tools. Excellent product, definitely recommend.
