GVS RPB C40 Climate Control Device

I purchased this in Feb 2022 for $262.00. The price on it now is comical to be nice. There are no moving parts, it's just plastic tubes using air compression and decompression to "heat and cool" the air flow. First, I've owned a mobile blasting business for 7 years, blasted in temps from 28-98 F. These climate systems do help offset the outside temps but they don't come close to the advertised numbers. At 35F with moderate humidity you may see temps in your helmet or mask at around 45 or 50F. You'll still be cold, just not as cold. The best part is, if you use it for more than an hour or so below freezing it will freeze up solid and shut your air supply off. Same with the cooling setting. It's cooler than the outside air at 90F but you'll still be hot. Secondly, the belt clips are extremely fragile, and of course, expensive to replace for a $.60 piece of plastic. I had to purchase this unit to replace a working unit only because they changed the clip design, that's it, just the clip design, and the version I had was "no longer available"... Convenient I would suggest... Third, don't purchase this from this vendor, this item can be purchased $100 cheaper elsewhere.
