I can't speak negative about this product. It's all that is described. Except I ordered a large and received a medium. It was on great sale price so I'll gift it. I ordered a second one and contacted support. What I found is even though I ordered a large, the description in the checkout stayed medium. I repeated that over and over with the same results. I did receive the correct size on the second order. Just an FYI for those considering a purchase.

I bought this for my son and after having thrown away a lot of money on other helmets I have finally found one that he will wear. He likes the ratchet knob to adjust the fit of the helmet, the magnetic visor was a huge hit also, and the cool look that can go for when he's riding his 10 speed as well as hanging at the skate park with his BMX.

COMFORTABLE YET SECURE

This helmet is awesome! I love the magnetic sun shades that attach to this. Mine is a large and it fits me well, as that is my normal size. It does not feel cheap. I would describe it as futuristic looking, so I love the look. Even the packaging was good. There is room for improvement though, because there are gaps (helmet vents) to store the shades on top of the helmet when not in use, but there is nothing metal for the magnet to grab hold of. You can get it to stay where you normally place them if you turn them upside down though. Still, this helmet would be better for me if there was metal for the magnets to attach to so you could store the glasses on top of the helmet. I usually go for lower priced helmets, but I still recommend this one even at the price. It feels more high-end than what you'll find at the big box stores.

I found this helmet to be quite comfortable and very easy to get a proper fit. The optical quality of the detachable visor is very good and helps to be able to see better when in bright sunshine. While I did not crash test it, it does seem very solid and I am sure it would offer good protection in a fall.The helmet has some soft padding inside that can be removed for cleaning or replacement and is held in place with velcro.Unless you plan to wear the visor for your entire bike ride, I would suggest you plan to have a way to store it when you're not using it; a pocket or bag. I found it easy to put on and remove using only one hand if you grab it in the middle by the nose piece cutout.

The fit is great. The look is great. The visor is great.The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is that when I take off the helmet, I have to be careful to not bump the visor. It is held in place with strong magnets, and works fine while riding, but when I take it off and sling it on the handlebars of my bike, if the visor is bumped, it falls to the floor. So far, it has not resulted in scratches or breaks, just a bit of grumbling and eye-rolling from me.Again, overall, I am pleased with the product.

It was purchased as a gift. Was too small for 12 year old.

I liked this, bought a size too big so I didn't keep it. But I had a concern: the mirrored coating on the lenses, while looking cool, is very easily scratched (mine came already ruined).I like how it attached, and if you were careful, this would make a good helmet.
