Miniature Light Bulbs, 3 Volt Mini Lamps, E10 Small LED Bulbs, Multicolor (R,B,G,Y,W) Pack of 5

Lights did not work for my old crystal light base fixture. Ended up buying incandescent bulbs. When buying take the age of the light base under consideration. If it is old, it may not be able to handle LED. That was the case for me. Had them too long to return.

These bulbs are awesome. I love the color variations. Sadly, the blue bulb didnt work, the color I was most excited for. If the owner is reading this, can I get a new blue bulb please?

I bought these miniature 3V lightbulbs to put into my Star Trek Phaser movie prop. I wanted it to look real instead of looking like a toy flashlight with just an ordinary white bulb. This pack of colored bulbs really did the trick! Great product, great price and arrived ahead of time as well. Will definitely purchase again. And thanks AMAZON!

Just for anyone out there thinking of utilizing them on the old Radio Shack 160 in 1 Tandy electronics kits these are the correct size E10. They are not incandescent they are LEDs but they will work regardless. Those old Tandy kits sold on eBay are a beauty, better than the Elenco kits in my opinion just a thought; just saying this in case somebody out there is thinking of making a kiddo joyful.

I purchased these mini LED bulbs for use in my middle school classroom. With that in mind, here are the positives and negatives of these bulbs.Positives: They are very bright! They fit standard mini-bulb fittings, so you don't need to purchase special holders. It is great to have the color assortment.Negatives: Disclaimer: These were used in a middle school classroom, and middle schoolers are not known for being gentle with equipment. Four of the five bulbs that came in this set were broken in 3 days due to over tightening. LEDs only work when the polarity is correct, so if you hook it up and the light doesn't light, switch the leads coming from the battery to the other side of the bulb. My students did not understand this concept, so if the bulb did not work, I think they tried to tighten them. When twisted too hard, the leads connecting the resistor inside the base will break, and the bulb will be non-functional. If you disassemble the bulb, and the resistor hasn't disconnected from the LED itself, you can still light the bulb using alligator clips, so they still work, but not with convenient bulb holders.I still gave these bulbs 3 stars even though 4 out of the 5 bulbs failed. I believe they failed because of the environment that they were in. If you have a less 'stressful' environment, they probably work extremely well, especially if you just screw them in and let them be forever. However, if you will be screwing them in and out frequently, you may want to find ones that are more durable. I will not be purchasing these again for student use, as they are too expensive to be broken so quickly. I will use my one remaining bulb for demonstration purposes.

Very bright. Worked equally well with a single C2032 battery (3V) and a set of 3 AAA alkaline batteries (4.5V). Note: white LED had strong bluish tint.

Unfortunately, two bulbs didn't light and one broke in half when I screwed it in, great idea for a product, but quality is lacking. Maybe I just got a bad set. The bulbs that work, work great.Edit: I was sent a new package of bulbs in response to this review. They appear to hold up much better, so maybe I just got a bad batch, rating upgrades from 2* to 4*, and 5* for Sci Supply's customer service.
