For a low price, you receive a small factor handy book, with useful overall informations - general instructions in bonsai knowledge and techniques - more that 100 different trees species exposed on double-page with story and care informations - hundreds of pictures to illustrate all of that (per tree, on full tree example and one detail pic each) To have in your pocket ! Very nice book filled with a multitude of pictures, haven't read the whole book but flicked through managing to find bits I wanted fairly quickly so a good overall book for beginners but also competent bonsai keepers. Apart from the pictures, there is a lot of good advice, well laid out, and easy to understand even for a complete novice. The only thing that could be improved is the size, the book is rather small, a little bigger than pocket size I would say, so the text is quite small but nonetheless a very good informative book.
