Not recommended for beginners
I would say that the cross stitch is easy to handle but not very easy to read the instructions. Also, I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner. I bought this for my daughter and she kept getting confused so I ended up doing it myself. If a beginner were to figure it out, they would be surprised when they got a real Crossstitch because the instructions are so different. Otherwise the dissing is pretty.

MY 7 YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER WANTED TO LEARN TO DO NEEDLEWORK SO I PURCHASED THIS KIT FOR HER TO LEARN BEGINNING STITCHES. SHE IS LOVING THE SKILL AND LEARNING HOW TO READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.THIS IS GREAT FOR A BEGINNER.

Nice for beginners
Bought this as a first cross stitch craft for ky daughter. Pattern is clear and simple to follow. Good introduction to the craft.

Not enough thread
This would be a great set but it didn’t come with enough thread to finish the pink or green sections. Now all that work done for nothing. Useless.
