Apply with the carpet cleaner with machine as usual and let dry. Now for the IMPORTANT thing no one does. After a day or so you need to hit your carpet again with just plain water to remove the cleaner. I know, it is 1/2 cup per gallon so there is not much there BUT I will tell you right now your carpet is going to lose its plush feel if you do not use clean water after a day or so. Don't believe me? Do it in a small area and wait a few days and see how it looks compared to the rest of the carpet! For really bad carpet use this then Oxyclean carpet cleaner and then water...good as new!

Dog behind scratches across the rugs. Landing strips of, well, nastiness. That is the reason alone for this product.I have used this product before and I can definitely say it work decently. It by no means is the greatest. As a matter of fact this is incoming again because of the usual product being out of stock.Hold them sock! Don't go running yet. This certainly does not mean the product doesn't work well for cleaning carpets, getting odors out and the such. It most definitely does.The only reason this is my "backup" is because it is not as serious business as my normal go to product. When I say serious I am talking about 5 dogs, inside outside, inside outside. Mud, vomit, bathroom accidents. Yeah, that is a lot on a carpet and that means industrial style heavy duty. This is in my opinion is more of a medium duty.So basically if you are a furless family, or no mechanic in the house, this works great. But if you need something tougher I think money is better spent else where.
