It works and setup was simple
It works and setup was simple! I needed another Ethernet circuit in my home network, but I already had unused coax cables in the right place. Using these adapters, I didn't have to crawl around in the attic running new Cat 6 cables. New cables would have been cheaper (DIY), but saving the work, the time, and the hassle made these adapters worth the money for me. If you have a similar situation, I highly recommend these adapters.

Great Product
It was an easy installation. I’m working on a homelab server project, so I’ve learned a lot from setting this up, and it works great. I’m getting 900+ Mbps download and 900+ Mbps upload with no issues. The only challenge was that my home’s coaxial lines weren’t MoCA-ready, but I worked around it by using a switch, and everything runs perfectly now. Overall, it’s a great product and very affordable.

First time MoCA user - fast connection
First time MoCA user, fast connection I’m a first time MoCA network user, but complete believer. If you understand that a wired connection is always an upgrade in bandwidth compared to using something like and extender, then this is for you. Just make sure you connect and set up correctly and you’re good to go. Setting up a MoCA network with my home Coax wires For those wondering if you’re MoCA compliant, or if you’re home has a MoCA compliant network, the adapters themselves are MoCA compliant. They can talk to each other using MoCA. If you’re talking about the environment, MoCA can coexist in a home with the “compatible” services, or no service. It can’t coexist in a home using the “non-compatible services” Compatible: Verizon FiOS/ Spectrum/ Devices with an Ethernet Port Not Compatible: Direct TV/Dish/Satellite TV/ AT&T Internet/ AT&T U-Verse I’ll save you some time and post the quick installation guide here to help get you setup. However there are pics on the installation guide that can help you out if you’re still confused. Step 1-Connect an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on one TMO-311C to the Ethernet port on your network. Step 2-Connect a coaxial cable from the MoCA port on the TMO-311C to the coaxial cable in your home. Step 3-On a remote TMO-311C, connect a coaxial cable from the MoCA port on the TMO-311C to the coaxial cable in your home. Step 4-Connect an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on the TMO-311C to the Ethernet port of a network device. I needed a better more reliable data rate from my NAS and gaming/streaming setup upstairs. Wifi just wasn’t cutting it even using mesh, and powerline didn’t come close to what I wanted. Now with these I’m near gigabit (was expecting way lower, but getting high 800’s low 900 mbps speeds!) 100% reliable. Impressive product. Solves a big problem, Easy solution If your router is in one room, and you want an Ethernet connection in another room (for a gaming console, switch, AP), and have standard coax wires connecting the rooms, BUT you don’t have Ethernet in those rooms or don’t want to run Ethernet, this is for you. Setup up on of these MoCA 2.0 adapters at either end of the coax, and boom, you just transformed your home coax into Ethernet.

worked great eventually
had an ethernet over powerline setup for my son's room but the wiring in this house is old and the speed wasn't up to anything, speedtest showed 25MB/s, no faster than using our wifi. Hooked this up to an ethernet switch in his bedroom and couldn't get a connection. Then I went through all the other devices on the switch one at a time, his xbox was fine, his desktop was fine, but the firestick ethernet adapter was uncooperative. If I plugged everything in the switch I had no connection, but if I disconnected the firestick adapter the pc connected right to the internet at about 650MB/s ... 22x faster than using powerline. I ended up keeping the powerline adapter setup in his room to run the firestick as that works better than using wifi. Easy enough to setup, I wish I'd found this back in April 2020 when we were trying to get ready for virtual schooling

Life Savers
We moved into a new build and I noticed that they didn’t run any low voltage Ethernet - only coax - as if we were moving into a new 1990’s hope. I was super annoyed, because WiFi is good, but can only deliver mediocre results. I discovered these online and realized I should give it a try. To my delight, these things work amazingly well - and you learn how to terminate coax cable correctly in the meantime. Once I had everything done, it lit up immediately and has been giving me 1GB speeds at each end point. I tied that into my existing gigabit netowrk and my network connectivity problems were solved. They have been working for 4+ mths and I am so happy I have them. Will buy more when we build an office and second garage. Would recommend!

This is the way to go if you have coax
Unlike Ethernet over Powerline devices, this actually does give advertised speeds. I’ve tried a couple different powerline devices and never found one that I was happy with. This is the first MoCa device that I’ve tried and I’m very happy with it. Product information says that it should get up to 1Gbps and I got over 900 Mbps. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 If you need internet to a room with no Ethernet and WiFi isn’t a great option for you, and you are trying to decide between Powerline or MoCa, MoCa is definitely the better option.

Easy Peasy
This thing works great! Expected maybe some QC issues with the price but it was plug and play!

It works well, just plug and play. East to set up. I got close to my internet provider speed of 1 Gbps. Tested on Speedtest.net got Download 943Mbps and Upload 721 Mbps. Very impressive. For $124.99 it's less than the other brands by a lot. Been using it for about 2 weeks, no issues so far. I was worried since I used to use Powerline Ethernet and it always got stuck at 32Mbps no matter which brand. Finally have basically full speed internet in my basement and better latency then wifi. Remember to turn off VPN when testing speed. I had my VPN on first time I did the speed test and got 330+ Mbps download. So that's 1/3 of my max possible speed. For Youtube, banking, amazon shopping the VPN being on is fine. But when download major updates or games, you need to turn off VPN to get full speed. That is not the fault of this Ethernet over Coax adapter. It's just how VPN slows everything. Maybe I will buy another one for another room in the house in the future.

As expensive as these kits usually are,one would expect co-ax and network cables included. They are not

Works well, just make sure your cabling isn't bad. Can sustain full duplex gigabit speeds

I was amazed that it did what it is supposed to in my house coat system. I'm impressed
