I love these bins!! They are more compact than other recycling bins that we were looking at online, which is exactly what we were looking for. They fit perfectly in our hall closet, with room remaining to store our broom, mop and shopping bags right next to it. Perfect for our one bedroom apartment, the bins might be too small for families who only take out the recycling once a week, but for us they're a great size. Easy to wash if they get dirty. The handles are great for carrying. We labeled them to be for glass, plastic and cans. I might have liked a fourth bin for paper, but we just keep paper recycling in a paper shopping bag on the floor next to the bins, so that works out fine. We've got the basics covered! Five stars!

Yes, 5 stars. These are versatile containers, which can be used for a variety of purposes. I ordered the 3 pack for use in my chest freezer. At the time, there were no other reviewers who had done this, but now I see I am not the only one. Yes, they work great. They are a perfect fit for my 12 cf freezer - I stack two of them on the left, and the other in the middle with hanging baskets above it. I now have very little wasted space, and I can simply lift out the top bin to easily access the one below it. Yes, these bins stack easily by folding down the handle and creating a square footing for the bin on top of it. If not in use, they nest easily by folding the handle back up, and one bin slides right into the other - how they arrive in packaging. The material is pretty much what you would expect of any indoor trash can or recycling container - durable, yet flexible. They seem to hold up nicely in my freezer, maintaining durability and flexibility despite the freezing temperatures. I have at least 30 lbs of venison in one of these, yet I can lift it right out without any trouble or worry that it will break. There does not seem to be many things designed for use in a freezer, and what I have found is either cheaply made or too expensive for what it is. Not these, though. They may be recycling bins, but they work great in the freezer, and at this price (3 pack), each bin was less expensive and greater holding capacity than a Rubbermaid basket designed to sit in my freezer! I am thinking about ordering another 3 pack, so I can use them for recycling :-)

For day to day recycling collection that allows separation and doesn’t take up too much space, these bins are perfect! They are sturdy, curved edges will keep it easy to clean if needed and there’s enough gap in the opening when stacked to allow for effective deposit of recyclables.

Its hard to picture a 6 gal waste bin... I was picturing 6 gallons of milk stacked instead of thinking of the volume if they were poured out into the bin. So, I thought these would be perfectly sized, however I do find them a bit too small to keep up with how much we recycle. They are perfect for under the counter/in cabinet to keep our recycling hidden in our kitchen. I love how they do stack neatly and the handle flips up to carry or flips down to allow for sturdy stacking. Shipping was super fast and these came with a personalized handwritten note from the company. That in itself makes it worth the purchase b/c of good customer communication and good policies this group has. Would recommend for sure but perhaps go up a few sizes if you recycle a lot!

I was looking for stacking bins for recycling that would be easy to access and these fit the bill! I live in a NYC apartment so space is at a premium and stackable was important. Some bins have lids or narrow openings making them hard to fill, but not these. The bottom bins open wide enough for anything I would put in them. They are just the right size for what I needed, hold plenty of recycling and are easy to carry to the building's trash collection with the handle. The plastic is nice and sturdy and I think will hold up well for a long time. Seller was great at keeping me up to date with the status of my order and shipped my bins the same day I ordered them. They arrived in just a couple days. I'm very pleased with these bins and highly recommend them.

We have a 7ft chest freezer that we bought around 2001. As a technical person the chest freezer is better in many ways to an upright, except in usability. Finding food and getting it out has always been an issue. We tried some plastic bins but never came up with anything that seemed to work for us. Lately I came across a video showing someone using bins like these and liked that they allowed the person to use most of their space very efficiently. I found them on Amazon and ordered them. After the delivery being delayed a couple of weeks (they made trips to 3 states before getting here), we took everything out of the freezer, put in the bins, and sorted out the frozen food into the bins and the small open space in between the bins. They work great for us. Two bins go on the right, one goes on the left on top of the compressor. The open space between the bins is used for items in larger slim boxes. To find something in the top bins it is very easy. If it's in the bottom bin then it's easy to lift the top right bin and look in the bottom bin. The handles are a must, it just takes one hand to lift a bin. Overall they are great for us and our chest freezer. A little pricey but I could not find any other options that included handles like this except at the Container Store. I would assume they would work OK as recycle bins or whatever you'd use these for.

My partner and I wanted to replace a couple of impractical recycling boxes we had, so we shopped around and found these. We bought a set of 3. We love how practical they are and how easy it is to stack them. The design is very ingenious in that if the handle faces one way, they stack in a tower with a front opening, and if the handle faces the other way, they fit nicely and compactly stacked inside one another, making them easy to transport when empty. They are not the largest, but that’s probably for the best, since that forces us to take out the recycling every week. I included a photo with a Triscuit box for size reference. We highly recommend these bins.
