If you want to remove your inner wheel bearing to clean it and regrease it, you have to pry out this seal. Doing so destroys the integrity of the seal, so you always need to use a new seal. These are easy to install with a block of wood and hammer after servicing the inner bearing. Work great.

Repacked the bearings on my featherlite cargo trailer and these fit perfectly. Local parts store wanted 3x the price.

Hub/bearing kit I bought had different ID seals than I needed, so these did the trick. Have not had any issues with them. They were properly sized and seem to be of decent quality. One caveat is that unlike the seals in the kit, these do not have a very deep dish to the steel cup part, so it's easy to drive them in too far, but they work fine if installed with some care.

Before each trip I remove my hubs, inspect the bearings, lube and replace the seals. I have used three sets of these seals thus far and have had no complaints.They are a double seal with spring seat. They also apply a type of sealant on the outside (metal to metal contact area) which seems to work well. I always apply a little wheel grease to the rubber part of the seal. That keeps it from having a dry rubber to metal contact when the wheel starts rolling. I've been doing this for 49 years and zero failures.For the money, this is a good deal. I would recommend these seals...just make sure YOU are ordering the correct size! Good luck!
