This was recommended to me and has proven to be a comprehensive self explanatory beautifully presented book covering the marine life of this region.

I dive mainly in Seychelles and Maldives and this book is my reference book. This is the book I use to fill out my dive logbook on the sea creatures that I encounter. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because admittedly, it's a relatively smaller reference book and therefore not as thorough as bigger books, but I find that it identifies almost the vast majority of sea creatures that I encounter.
