An RGB Mechanical keyboard with the looks to match more popular and expensive brands
*****Note: I posted the same review for the white version of this keyboard, but this black version is slightly different (more lighting options and different level brightness.).Before starting the review I want to mention that there is a youtube video reviewing this same keyboard which I highly recommend checking out if you want to see the keyboard, the switch used, the lighting modes, and just about everything else so I won't add too much to the review. Only difference from the keyboard on the video and mine was that the switch is housed in a clear mold to spread the colors and the logo is in white instead of black. To find the youtube video just search for "E-Element RGB Keyboard Review - Affordable RGB Mechanical Keyboard". The video will be by MS Tech.NOTE: for a video review on the black version, check out a youtube video by Jacob Goodman titled "E-Element RGB Keyboard | UNBOXING & REVIEW"Now out of the box the keyboard is bubble wrapped with the wrist pad already attached and the manual also in the box. The cord is not braided, but the usb is gold plated. Also there are no USB passthrough ports. The keyboard has a really nice looking brushed aluminum body and comes with a wrist pad that is plastic, but has a sort of aluminum grate texture on the surface. The wrist pad is detachable as it is held together by first clipping it into place and then placing two magnetic screws that sit in a little space just under the keyboard. The Keyboard definitely has some weight to it and looks like a very well made keyboard. I appreciate the double-shot injection keycaps as it means the letters won't get erased after many hours of use like you may experience on some membrane keyboards. The switch used is indeed a blue Outemu switch (not cherry mx), so you will get that nice tactile feedback and clicky sounds. It can be loud if you don't particularly like hearing all these clicks when typing or gaming, but i do find it satisfying to listen to. I can't comment on how it feels in comparison to a cherry mx blue as I have not used a keyboard with cherry mx blues for a long time, but it will give you what you may expect of a cherry mx blue switch in terms of tactile feedback. You will probably find these outemu switch to be significantly louder than cherry blue switches when you fully press down the key so if noise is an issue i'd recommend getting o rings to dampen the sound a bit or looking for a different option. The lighting on the keyboard is absolutely amazing. There are 4 levels of brightness (including off) with the 4th and brightest level not looking too bright. It will look bright in pitch black, but if you were to turn on the lights or have some sunlight, you can see it being a bit dim. This is because the LED is housed in an acrylic shell in front of the switch and a bit below it. There are 9 different light modes. Although there is no mode dedicated to having a static color shown, you can always stop the running mode of the lights to stop on the color you wish to have for your entire keyboard by just pressing Fn+ the specific light mode key. Oh and as the description states, you have the ability to do custom lighting by pressing fn+End key. When pressed the scroll, caps, and window lock key will be flashing letting you know you are now in recording mode so you can press each key to light in whatever of the colors you want with no software and simply press fn+end again when done to finish recording.Overall, very nice RGB mechanical keyboard with blue outemu switches that comes at a very good price. When it was sold by Granvela Co., the keyboard was being sold for 69.99. As of recently I have seen a seller 'Truelighte' sell it and they sell it at either 69.99 or 79.99. At these prices i'd say this is definitely worth it as it will be hard to find a keyboard with RGB lighting and static lighting capability such as this one (not keyboards that have set colors for set rows) and a profile mode where you can individually light each key to 1 of 7 colors.-----Note: this similar keyboard is being sold by different sellers at about $100 or more, which at that price range i'd consider other keyboards.

You should use a mechanical keyboard, & this one is a very good value.
Product: Falcon Keyboard Model Z-77 (silver and white design)Name for Amazon website: “MechanicalEagle Z-77 RGB Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Blue Switches, Innovative DIY-Replaceable Switches - White”Overall features:* RGB Mechanical keyboard, 104 keys, USB 2.0* OS: Win XP/Vista/Win7/Win8/Win10* Plug and play, no drivers, no software installation* It has multimedia functions (mute, volume control, play video, stop video, etc) and keyboard functions (backlight mode, backlight color, backlight brightness, factory setting, etc).* Each button or key has a removable cap. Below the removable cap is a removable switch. This mechanical switch is based on the blue Cherry design. The keyboard comes with a few extra switches and a simple tool for removing the caps and switches. This creates very easy and affordable repairs for each and every key or button.*My opinion about this mechanical keyboard:This keyboard deserves an overall score of 4/5.This is a well-made mechanical keyboard with an affordable price and a brilliant idea for replaceable buttons. The company that sells this keyboard only sells a few other button types, but there is a market demand for more switch types (e.g., red Cherry, black Cherry, brown Cherry, and clear Cherry), cap colors, cap fonts, and cap languages (e.g., English plus Chinese, English plus Japanese, English plus German, and English plus Spanish). Good marketing will attract the compatible customers to this product. In addition, the keyboard has good plug-and-play compatibility with BIOS and Microsoft Windows OS, multimedia functions, and independent LED control. However, there is no software support for this keyboard. Ideally, this keyboard should have a software that provides greater control over the keyboard’s features (e.g., various options to alter each button’s function, a full spectrum of choices for each button’s LED pattern, and different settings for different programs or purposes).Mechanical keyboards are generally more durable, permit more simultaneous button presses, and provide faster typing than membrane keyboards, which are the norm throughout the world. In the past, mechanical keyboards were the original and normal keyboards, but, over time, the vast majority of people ended up favoring membrane keyboards. This is due to various reasons. Membrane keyboards are usually lighter, thinner, more affordable, and quieter. Nowadays, mechanical keyboards satisfy a niche market that primarily consists of people who have fast typing skills and/or play video games on the PC.As of modernity, most mechanical keyboards use button switches based on the Cherry design. The most popular Cherry switches for typists and gamers are the blue ones and red ones. When you press the red switch, you will feel consistent resistance from start to finish. The red Cherry switch is like the black Cherry switch, but the red one has a much easier push or less resistance; or like the brown switch, but without the slightly tactile feel. The blue Cherry switch has both a tactile feedback and click sound. When you press a blue switch, you will feel light resistance through a depth of ~2 mm, and then you will feel slightly more resistance. You press beyond the slightly increased resistance to truly activate the switch, and this creates the click sound, which is louder than the click sound from a mouse button. The black Cherry switch requires a stronger push than most other switch types, but it also has a slightly faster and stronger bounce back, and it has no tactile feel and no click sound. The brown Cherry switch has a slightly tactile feel with no click sound, and it requires a slightly stronger push than the red Cherry switch. However, the brown Cherry switch is far less commonly sold than the red, blue, and black switches. The clear switch is like a brown switch with an extra tactile feel. The clear switch is very uncommon.A few mechanical keyboards offer the option to replace each button or switch. This allows you to easily repair the keyboard, have a mixture of switch types (e.g., mostly blue switches with some red switches for gaming), and other easy customizations. Most mechanical keyboards lack this feature. This keyboard has an "Fn" button (i.e., Function key) to access its special features. You hold down the Fn button and then press another button to activate or deactivate one out of many special features. See below for instructions.Function button's partner = result* Ins = cycle through one out of many backlight modes. See below for descriptions of the backlight modes.** (1) Set one color for all keys.** (2) Create one color for all keys, & the color repeatedly changes its brightness from low to high.** (3) Only provide backlight for the following keys: Esc (yellow), WASD (light blue), and four direction keys (blue). This is also the first gamer mode out of 5 gamer modes. Backlight mode #3 will show the previously selected gamer mode.** (4) Establish one color for all keys, and the color continually and gradually changes from red to white to yellow to green to blue to purple to repeat.** (5) Each key you press will light up for a brief duration, and the color will alternate like the previous mode 4.** (6) Give one color to all keys, and the color's intensity fluctuates in a wave pattern across the keyboard from the left to the right.** (7) One by one, the keys sequentially light in a snake pattern, and then the keys sequentially turn off in a reverse snake pattern.** (8) Each key you press will NOT light up, but it will light up all of the surrounding keys in a ripple effect. The color ripple changes its color in a pattern like in mode 4. The color change applies to every key except the pressed key, which stays unlit, and each pressed key alternates the surrounding keys' colors.** (9) Each key you press will NOT light up, but it will light up the keys that exactly border the pressed key. Other surrounding keys will stay unlit.** (10) The keyboard constantly has a wave pattern of changing colors from the left to the right. Each wave from the left to the right will display various colors.* Del = Change the backlight's color (red, white, yellow, greeen, blue, purple, or rainbow). This applies for backlight mode 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. For mode 9, pressing Function plus Del will change the direction of the wave from left to right, or right to left.* 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 = 5 gamer modes (light up the WASD keys and a few other keys that are typically used by gamers). To go back to the regular backlight modes, press Function plus PrtSc, and then press Function plus Ins. If you are in gamer mode, and then press Function plus Ins, then you will change to next backlight mode.* Home = Under one of the five gamer modes, press Fn plus Home, then press a key to assign the key's backlight color, and press "Function plus Home" again to save and quit. This allows you to assign a specific color for each key.* <- or -> (i.e., left or right direction key) = adjust the speed of backlight changes* Up or down direction key = adjust backlight brightness* Esc = factory setting* PrtSc = turn off all lights. Press Function plus Ins (or Function plus 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5) to return to previously selected backlight mode.* Windows key = activate and deactivate the Windows and App keys.

An Amazing Keyboard Well Worth Your Money.
The Model I received seemed a bit different than most, having a neater and much better presented packaging, and a different layout of modes on the keyboard. But other than that, they are identical. The best thing about this keyboard is the Outemu Blue switches. If you're experienced with mechanical keyboards, you might have heard of a few other cherry mx knockoffs such as "Kailh" and "Gaterons". These, In my opinion, are leagues and bounds better than anything else. My Quickfire TK is pretty bad at this point, as all most all of the led's have failed, but it's switches where fantastic compared to anything else i'd owned. These I just love. They're so loud though. Louder than regular MX blues. Next, the rgb lighting. Similar to Cherry's MX RGB design, Outemu Blues have a clear housing. This allows the light to be reflected across the switch, making it shine more evenly as well as brighter. The switches are bright and transition fluidly through colors. The G910 in my experience had a very mute brightness, and this blows it out of the water. I wish, however, the whites were not as blue. The wrist rest is a nice addition, but I never really use one. A big bonus point for modders and tinkerers, is the standard key layout, which allows you to change the keycaps.

I love the feeling and the design and my only regret ...
I was positivelt surprised by this keyboard. I love the feeling and the design and my only regret was that I was actually out to get the rgb kind but because i couldn't wait I decided to keep this. I am not disappointed. The white background light looks professional and clean. Great feel and great design and a low price.
