Effortless Grinding
As a coffee enthusiast, I've used various grinders over the years, but this one stands out for its simplicity, efficiency, and ease of use. The grinder's 5 presets make it incredibly easy to achieve the perfect grind consistency for any brewing method. Whether I'm making espresso, drip coffee, or French press, I can simply select the appropriate preset and let the grinder do the rest. This feature takes the guesswork out of grinding and ensures consistent results every time. The 12-cup capacity is another standout feature of this grinder. It's perfect for brewing large batches of coffee for gatherings or for stocking up on ground coffee for the week ahead. The spacious grinding chamber accommodates enough beans to meet my caffeine needs without the hassle of constant refilling. One of the things I love most about this grinder is how easy it is to clean. The removable grinding chamber and lid can be easily washed by hand or placed in the dishwasher for hassle-free cleaning. The sleek black exterior wipes clean effortlessly, maintaining its appearance with minimal effort. Additionally, the compact design of the grinder makes it easy to store on my countertop or in a cabinet when not in use. It doesn't take up much space, yet it packs a punch in terms of performance and functionality.

Excellent grinder! Highly recommend
It is just what I needed! My previous grinder was the type where you hold down the button to grind and just pray/guess/check to see if the grind comes out right. In this one, I put the beans in, select the approx number of cups for the amount of beans I put in, and push the button, and voila! Works perfectly! The grind comes out exactly correct. As for the sound, well, it's probably best not to do it while someone else is sleeping, but otherwise it is really not at all a big deal. It's the typical sound of a grinder (one that you haven't paid a hundred or more for). Considering that even for the max amount of beans, the time of grinding is maybe 20 seconds. Don't know about you, but for 20 seconds I ain't spending triple-plus for something quieter. It's not that bad or important, at least for me! The only possible 'con' is that the top part that you turn anti-clockwise to take off to empty the grounds is a bit tricky to do at first. Once you get the hang of it, it's fine. But the first time is a bit of a struggle. (But don't give up! It does get better. 😊 )

Noisy, but does a great job!
The previous older version of this coffee bean grinder was "quieter" / lower frequency of the motor running when grinding coffee beans. This particular model has a very high pitch when grinding. Some people may think it's "ear piercing". But, as far as, the effectiveness of grinding the coffee beans...it does an excellent job. Also, the diameter of this device is larger than the older version, so if you need to hold it to twist the cap off or the container, you will find it is a bit larger than the older version.

Had it for a year works great so far
Had this for a year and works great. Sometimes you have to run it twice to get it to the consistency I want for a Moka pot. It's pretty loud but no louder than any other grinder we've had in the past. Grounds do tend to get stuck in the bottom where you have to tip it over and tap at it to get them out but that's no big deal really

Works great, easy to use. Easy to clean.
Works better than one that costs twice as much. Wish it had cord storage, but the function makes up for not having cord storage.

It’s alright
The price is great, sub $20 for a grinder with multiple settings. Full disclosure, I prefer a burr grinder for coffee, but the last few I’ve purchased have broke so went in a new direction and the cost was great. I do pour over and cold brew for 99% of my coffee. Pros: easy set and forget settings and it grinds the coffee much quicker than my hand turn burr grinders. Cleaning is pretty good, some residual grounds fall down but easy to clean. Cons: first one didn’t work, had to exchange it. It’s pretty loud. Instructions aren’t helpful in terms of setting up for first use, it’s very specific in aligning parts and getting it connected to actually run (no issues now after a month) Not as exact in grinding to specs as a burr grinder A bit of a pain getting the grounds out of the capsule and into pour over/mason jar Overall for the price not bad and I can’t get a discernible difference in taste and I’ve gotten time back in terms of the quickness to grind vs the hand turn burr grinds. If it lasts a year or more I’ll be happy

Nope.
What initially sold me on this was the fact it has 5 grind settings — perfecto, since sometimes I like to make espresso using my Moka pot or machine and sometimes I’ll use a French press or make cold brew… all needing a specific grind. I have an older version of a Mr Coffee bean grinder but the plastic cleaning arms broke so I figured it was time for a new one…. while I did see my older model for purchase with strong reviews compared to this model, I still went with this one having high hopes. As soon as I unboxed it I was already questioning if I should’ve gone with the original… to answer my question, YES, yes I should have. First of all, the quality of this looks like some cheap toy. Second, the lid didn’t fully lock into place. The whole thing just seems very poorly made. I still rinsed it out and let it dry overnight to prepare for first use. Complete disappointment. I put it on the 4th setting just in front of “fine” for a grind that should have been perfect for my Moka pot… but no. It ended up having chunks of bean left and then I had to re-grind which defeats the purpose of me just pushing the button and letting it do its thing without me having to monitor the grind quality and still manually find a good grind. Anyway, it’s already back in the box and ready to be returned — I’m going to get the older original model like the one I already have and maybe I’ll save up for one of those even more expensive fancier ones in the future with multiple grind settings.
