A New Discovery
This album is pretty old. Don Williams passed several years ago. My wife discovered it and told me. I didn't realize it by Williams was in the Poso-Seeco Singers years ago. He has a pleasant voice and the songs are good listening.

Don's warm,laid-back baritone voice and traditional sound won the hearts of countless country fans throughout the 70's and 80's.And still does to this day. This collection includes all his big hits like I Believe In You,You're My Best Friend,ans Heartbeat In The Darkness. There's also other gems like Amanda,Tulsa Time,Till The Rivers All Run Dry,I'm Just A Country Boy,Lord I Hope This Day Is Good and my personal favorite Good Ole Boys Like Me,such a classic. Don is just pure easy listening country and this is the best single disc of his best hits that you're possibly ever going to find.Highly recommended!

Top-Zusammenstellung dieses begnadeten Country-Sängers der leider zu oft auf seinen Welthit "Some broken hearts never mend" reduziert wird, dabei hatte er in den US-Countrycharts viele weitere Tophits. Eine der schönsten Countrystimmen aller Zeiten. Leider fehlt mein persöhnlicher Lieblingssong "I`m getting good at missing you" auf dieser Greatest Hits-CD, aber ansonsten sind alle seine Hits enthalten. Absolute Empfehlung für alle Fans dieser schönen Musik!

I would recommend the CD to anyone that loves country music. Don Williams did an excellent job on the CD. Don Williams became known as the "Gentle Giant" of country music. Don Williams (born May 27, 1939, Floydada, Texas, United States), is an American country singer, songwriter, and a 2010 inductee to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
