BEST BAND IN THE WORLD !!!
What a great "fitness band" I brought this primarily to get notifications and control my music on my phone. It was far cheaper than buying a proper smart watch, Which cost over double the price. So the features I now use are of course the music control, set up for all the notifications I need, an alarm just before my real alarm goes off as it only vibrates and i sometimes sleep through it. So i wouldnt use it as an alarm clock.I also use the walking tracker, even though it counts your steps automatically, it's nice to see more detail if you're walking/running etc.The way you can set your own custom vibration pattern for different things is great, along with all of it really.I cant speak highly enough of this band. Surely it's the best value for money band you can get. There are so many little features that you can find on the app. Ive even found out how to make my own background from any photo. On the subject of changing watch faces, it's a bit of a let down, as it sometimes doesnt load even the preloaded backgrounds on and you have to try about 3 times to get it on. Some of their ones dont even load. I've made about 4 different faces and like to change them a few times a week. This is a great feature today. The weather is pretty poor as it only gives you what the weather is like at that moment and a few days after. But we all know the weather doesnt stay the same all day. So using it to check if its going to rain in a day is useless. That and the changing of the bands background is the only 2 things I've got a problem with. The rest of the things are great. Dont take the stats for sleep etc for gospel, as they are well put sometimes. But the walking etc is fine as its linked to your phones GPS.Overall it's a great band, and watch and a steal for the money. Luckily I think I have the global version as it was all in English when i got it.All I can add is, If you want a smart watch and cant afford a good one, or a fitness band, GET THIS. You wont be disappointed.8/10Ps I've uploaded a picture of my current self made a Donnie Darko background. It's great. I had a South park one before it.

Fitbit vs mi band
I had a fit bit versa 2 before, but sent it back after connection errors started. I bought this for a quick TEMPORARY replacement but don't plan on replacing it anytime soon. The heart rate it shows is about 5bpm off what the versa usually displayed but overall seems to be tracking changes in HR very well.Definitely water resistant, I have no concern for it when doing the dishes (it definitely gets dunked a few times), the only annoying thing is that when it's wet, the wristband makes popping noises because the band has unused holes for the clasp that trap air in. Simplely take it off, wipe it dry, and the noise stops. With the recent software update, the screen has become more difficult to turn off / became (more?) sensitive, so I keep accidentally putting alarms on. But if you don't use the app, then you can't set new alarms on the watch itself and will avoid the issue. For notifications, some arrive seconds before they even appear on my phone, some a minute after. So I'm really pleased with it. And calls show up quickly too, as my phone takes a few seconds to start playing the ringtone loudly. Or is on silent.I'm my opinion, since I'm not that active, this watch does everything a £150 fitbit does, but doesn't cost the earth, and is much easier to replace. I was charching the fit bit every other day, the mi band alerts that it's low every 1.5 weeks and charges in an hour or two.An issue I got over was that if you sleep on your wrist, the shape of the band digs into it and hurts. But it's down to the person.Would like it better if customisation for the clock face wasn't only from the apps selection of three templates (under which you put a personal picture). I wanted to be able to change the time to be displayed in 24hours instead of the 12hour format. And control what data (HR) is shown on the clock face.Well worth the money.

Great purchase!
I'd been on the lookout for an activity tracker that wouldn't give me a nickel allergy rash and reviews suggested this could be the answer, so I crossed my fingers and ordered it.When it first arrived I had slight concerns I hadn't been sent the right version as it was advertised as containing paper instructions in English as well as Chinese but only contained Chinese. Once I had charged the unit the language changed to English and the menus were simple to navigate so it was fine. There's a knack to getting the tracker in and out of the wristband, but a YouTube video was very helpful in figuring it out.The entire wristband is silicone and the charging connectors are set in slightly on the back so I was hopeful I could wear it rash free and I wasn't disappointed. It's very comfortable to wear and sleep in.My only real complaint is that I don't feel like I'm getting the same amount of time before I need to charge as when I first got it. It lasted almost 3 weeks before the battery went right down, but now the percentage seems to be dropping more quickly. On the plus side the time to full charge is very quick so it's not a massive problem. The app it works with is good, with various features, though it does take some time to update when necessary. I found an unexpected 'Find my device' feature on the tracker, which makes your phone buzz so you can locate it nearby, which has come in handy more than once!Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. For the price it's amazing and does all the things I want it for.

Amazing battery life!
I bought this to replace a tracker from another brand which had started to become erratic with battery life (not surprising, it had given great service for three years, so no complaints there!). This was a third of the price of the equivalent model from my old brand so I thought it was worth a try. It gives me everything I was looking for - step tracking, workout tracking, notifications, telling me when I've sat too long, silent alarms etc. It also has a really nice screen which is easy to see and it syncs well with the app on my phone. The main thing that has impressed me though is the battery life - currently on day 12 of the initial charge and it still has 38% battery left, this is despite using it to track walks every other day, having at least two alarms going off each day etc. I also like the fact that it tells me the % I have left, rather than me having to guess. I know the battery will deteriorate over time, but at the moment I am very impressed indeed!

Overall I would definitely recommend this device.
I will include in my review a comparison with the Fitbit Charge 2 as after years of owning Fitbits I decided I wanted a change, and better value for money. For a fraction of the price of a Fitbit Charge you get a better display, a much more responsive and better quality AMOLED screen, and much better syncing with its 'Mi Fit' app. It just works whereas the sync is very flaky with the Fitbits. I like how you can customise the screen display choosing from many preset options, including the background for which you can use your own photo from your phone picture gallery. My only wishes are that you could create your own custom screen layout as I would like the heartbeat and step count the same (medium/large) size on the screen. All screen displays feature the time/clock too prominently in my opinion. I can see the time on my phone but I use my tracker for steps and heart rate and workout recording. When you put it into Workout mode (Outdoor running in my case) the current time remains on the screen which I like, BUT the time here is VERY small and unless you have excellent eyesight you will have trouble reading it. The unit is also more slim than the Fitbit Charge 2/3.After completing a workout you get a lot of stats but the elevation gain/loss is always zero for me so I am guessing you need your phone close by with GPS/Location switched on, but I run without my phone. It records sleep well and seems to be less sensitive than the Fitbit. It records hardly any 'awake' time during the night and only records normal sleep, deep sleep and awake time.I like the way you pop the central unit out of the strap to charge it. The build quality is very good and the strap works great for me, it is made of nice smooth matt rubber/plastic. Overall I would definitely recommend this device.
